Maybe she'll get a slice of the PPI firm's commission. It might not be much but then she needn't put much effort into it.

Eyespying · 13/02/2016 17:41

Libitina The big change was when the 'FLP' mob, and their attorneys, made the foolish mistake of trying to intimidate MN members to shut us up.

throwingpebbles · 13/02/2016 17:53

Just been rooting around on nethuns and there is what I suspect is an Ariix bot floating around trying to lure bots over!

throwingpebbles · 13/02/2016 17:54

Has anyone else had any success on other forums or need anyone to join in on one? (Having a lazy day!)

I have just been gently posting the odd comment / link on nethuns ...

1gorgeousson · 13/02/2016 17:56

I've seen a bot doing a similar thing but with have you ever worked for the police, fire, NHS, civil service etc. a lot of follow up posts with I have why Hun and they were all met with I've pm'd you. There were some worried people commenting on the post.

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 18:21

Now that one has me stumped. My guess would be pensions but it's absolutely only a guess.

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 18:32

If anyone knows any public sector trades union workers, they could usefully alert them on that one, I suspect. Especially if some people are worried.

Lovewineandchocs · 13/02/2016 19:06

mr grumpy
Yes I can explain. You always order the goods at wholesale price (30% off) so you pocket the difference between wholesale and retail price. If a customer orders from your website the difference between the 2 prices is paid into your bank account on a specific date. Your bonus cheque (in Ireland, I think it's bank transfer in the UK) is a percentage of the retail price of yours and your customers' total spend that month minus VAT. The percentage is 5-18% depending on where you are in the marketing plan. You can also get a group volume bonus and leadership bonus (variable percentages) if you are higher on the plan than your downline. Chairman's bonus cheques are worked out in a pool, e.g 1/6 of the company's total profit for the year is divided between those at Level 3 (certain amount of CCs), 1/3 between those at Level 2 etc. phew, I'm exhausted just writing that. It's v complicated and hard to get anywhere unless you work 24/7!

Lovewineandchocs · 13/02/2016 19:12

There is an MLM that teaches people about money, finds loopholes and gets people their PPI back, saves on mortgages, finds cheaper insurance etc. I'm not sure what it's called but one of the mums from school is in it. Will find out.

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 19:12

Ah.

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 13/02/2016 19:21

The irony of an MLM that teaches people about money but relies on recruiting people who know little enough about money to get involved with a pyramid scheme. Brilliant.

MrGrumpy01 · 13/02/2016 19:22

Thanks.

So a nightmare in terms of being able to work to a household budget.

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 13/02/2016 19:35

Do you not require some kind of qualification to offer mortgage advice to people in the UK? Those setting themselves up as advisers could probably get into a lot of trouble if they're claiming to help people save on their mortgages.

Eyespying · 13/02/2016 19:50

Lovewineandchocs - 'TransAmerica' a.k.a. 'Financial Education Services.' is one of a specific type of heavily- ironic 'MLM' cultic racket: the bosses of which have pretended that anyone can achieve total financial freedom by becoming an financial adviser and duplicating a plan in which advisers buy a quota of insurance, and other financial services, and recruit other advisers to duplicate the same plan, etc. ad infinitum.

In other words, in this heavily-disguised type of 'MLM' racket, the fixed-price insurance and financial services (which can easily be bought on the open maket on more advantageous terms) are the effectively-unsaleable wampum which are used to launder unlawful payments into the classic' MLM' closed-market swindle, a.k.a. pyramid scheme.

Absolutely any product, and/or service, can be used to hide this type of cultic racket.

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 19:56

Someone who has direct contacts (I don't myself, currently) could usefully alert the public sector unions to this. They receive a slice of their income from such matters - and, moreover, if someone were to be poaching on their turf with regard to vulnerable people?...........

IAmNotDarling · 13/02/2016 20:00

My Bot has gone very quiet. I'm hoping she has seen the light...

I know - but there will be time for sadness later. There isn't right now.

Eyespying · 13/02/2016 20:09

Lovewineandchocs - The same 'MLM' racket has also been known as 'Primerica' and'CitiLife Financial' in Britain, and Ireland. Interestingly, it has attracted the attention of the quality press in 2003, but typically, the Telegraph financial journalist(s) didn't even come close to identifying what has really been lurking behind this particular corporate labyrinth.

Would you want to take financial advice from a company that posts this nonsense about the corporate pyramid on its website?

Because of course there is no difference in the skills, experience and knowledge to do all the different jobs in a corporation.

Eyespying · 13/02/2016 20:33

Lovewineandchocs - Yes, just as I suspected, this 'Genistar' front-company is part of the same 'Primerica', 'Citigroup', 'Citisolutions,' corporate labyrinth.

It's got blame-the-victim cultic racket written all over it.
