I would rather just give her money than watch her go through this shite.

There is no question in my mind the her "mentor" has preyed on her after seeing her posts on FB about how much she's struggling.

Eyespying · 28/01/2016 09:15

Cloppysow - Take care. Giving money to someone who has fallen for the 'MLM' bull shite could be like giving money to a chronic gambler.

'MLM' recruiters are trained to zero in on vulnerable people and befriend them. If your friend doesn't have ready cash to play the game of make- believe, her ever-so-friendly 'FLP' handler will want to know everything about her in order to advise her how best to beg steal or borrow the money.

Do you know the name of your friend's 'FLP' handler?

Windy0urneckin · 28/01/2016 09:20

I seriously am continually astounded by these ridiculous claims. Aloe as a cure for Anorexia?! Seriously?! Hmm

The EC YT is genius! Grin

SIWI re the book - that is crazy!

Patzy85 · 28/01/2016 09:24

Sorry it is too early for math and such a long post but I thought this may interest you, especially if you're considering joining FL.

My regions top bots qualified for the 1.5K FLP global rally (essentially the lowest entry yet these are the highest achievers/top of the league in our large area).

They have a down line of around 20ish, so it appears anyways (the two main bezzie bots having been in this now for around 2 years, one recruiting the other).

So 1500 case credits between 20 bots (2 have apparently qualified for the rally, although it's for two tickets so that means jack shit it could be for them combined!) would mean that they have to be achieving 6.25 case credits on average each per month.

Note that there has been a LOT of changing faces within the 'team' over the last year. I personally know three people who started up and dropped out of this particular down line after a just a couple of months. Obviously there will be more, I dare say 40/50 people who have started and left over the last 12 months, like a revolving door (remember that their CCs also count towards this 1.5K). Some are new, having been recruited in November/December. So much for #changinglives more like #fleecingyoufor£200!

Now for this #residualincome hashtag that I've seen floating about, this level of CCs works out at a profit of around £250 a month, give or take (not including bonuses and/or expenses such as expected home use). Obviously it's a pyramid so some will be earning more than others, the top recruiting more so more personal CCs, but if anything that shows that the lower bots make even LESS but I'm working on averages just to highlight how much they can #achieve because #bossbabes.

Now these two particular top bots claim to be 6 figure earners often make statements saying new bots they bring in are on target to make £4000 earnings per month in 6 months........ surely that is IMPOSSIBLE? You'd be making FL nearly £20,000 per month. If this plan actually worked they would have 1.5k EACH a year and shared not between them! And these two CON ARTISTS would have accumulated a lot more CCs, not just make the lowest entry requirements for the rally!

Basically what I'm trying to say is that rally qualification highlights is that they're not actually that successful at all, no where near and if you're thinking of joining this is the NOT the opportunity you're being sold!!!

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 28/01/2016 09:34

Good god Windy Angry

With regards to HRT - do you think they even know what it means? Is that little bottle a replacement for it or to cure it?

Eyespying · 28/01/2016 09:36

Windy0urneckin- But down the 'FLP' rabbit hole you can buy 'DrinkMe Potion' for getting smaller and 'Eat Me Cake' for getting bigger.

Notice how the misleading miracle-medical claims never appear on the packaging. Also the word 'cure' is a no no in 'MLM' rackets, according to the literature aloe vera doesn't cure anyone, it merely 'helps' them to get well and stay well.

The lies 'FLP' recruiters tell in private, are an entirely different matter.

Fintan · 28/01/2016 09:43

Thanks for that patzy.

Rudechoob · 28/01/2016 10:09

Ahhhh so sad i missed the EC before they got removed whete shes telling ppl to get rid of her kids etc dammmmmitt!!

xenu1 · 28/01/2016 10:10

rayofhop/assemble mentioned the 1cc for FL "assemble they don't care if you sell it or not they've already got your money as long as 1cc goes through your ID no it doesn't matter if you use it or sell it to your customer. "

There's another small point. As part of the smoke-and-mirrors of MLMs they all blur the distinction between personal use and sales ('cos no-one sells, and it hides the upward-fee-fraud from the "regulators") That's why FL uses CC, Amway PV (and Timeless VIE VD, or Vie Debits :)) Cnt remember the Younique one.

xenu1 · 28/01/2016 10:12

Younique Team Fabulash (!) explains the power of duplication for exponential growth. And I attempt a criticism. (see comments)

(its only 2mins)

Eyespying · 28/01/2016 10:14

Fintan

Patzy85 is right, the mathematics of 'MLM' plans are themselves a mystifying distraction hiding a far more simple truth. In the past, teams of well educated, but essentially stupid, regulators have wasted their time struggling to understand what was specifically designed never to be understood by anyone.

The key-information which 'MLM' racketeers have all hidden behind piles of thought-stopping mathematical and linguistic bullshit, is the fact that the overwhelming majority of cash flowing into to their dissimulated closed-market criminal enterprises has always come from the losing-adherents based on their false expectation of future reward, not from lawful retail sales to members of the general public based on value and demand.

Fintan · 28/01/2016 10:23

spying I'm glad it's not just me! Maths was never my strong point, but I know when I looked at the claimed UK sales figures recently and divided it by the number of 'active' FL distributors in the UK (ca. 6k) the figures made no sense.

Something else I don't understand is the 'promotion' structure. Aside - it's their own business but they can only be promoted by following someone else's structure. Ha!
Anyway, promotion. My bot is a Manager. Will she stay a Manager as long as she's with FL, or can she lose that status if monthly CC s aren't reached, or if people she's recruited choose to leave? And are they assessed month-by-month, or is it annually?

Patzy85 · 28/01/2016 10:28

When they say they're 6 figure earners I always assume they mean that is what their team turns over for FL, it can't possibly be what they walk away with.

The CCs are purely to complicate things, unlike most businesses who use currency to calculate profit margins they use a complex system designed to baffle anyone who looks at it, just as eyespying says.

Basically, if you sell a product that RRPs at £12 it is 0.1 CC. Think about how much you have to sell!!!! Where as recruiting brings 2CC. But not many people want to do this in reality, in fact for every sucker you recruit there are 10 people who think you're bat shit insane wasting your time and theirs.

The bots that I know personally make no profit (yet) but I have noticed that since starting the business they believe they're gods gift, changing the world one with their special powers. The level of self importance that came with that new distributor pack is mind blowing!

Eyespying · 28/01/2016 10:31

Fintan - To rise in any 'MLM' hierachy, you have to keep bringing in more and more cash for your 'Upline' handlers. However, because the wampum products are effectively unsaleable on the open-market, victims have to keep buying the wampum products themselves, and/or keep finding more and more victims to keep buying them, who in turn are trapped in the same economically suicidal closed-logic.

If the ammount of cash being brought in by any 'MLM' de facto slave, falls, his/her position in the hierarchy will also fall.

The comparison of keeping plates spinning, is very appropriate.

Fintan · 28/01/2016 10:33

It's so helpful to discussPatzy because before I found these MN threads I'd been trying to research it and understand it myself. It was impossible. I've learned more here in the last few days than in a year on my own.

My bot is a Manager but asking her about actual profit didn't go down well at all. Wink. And she left her career for this.

Fintan · 28/01/2016 10:35

Thanks Spying. So in many ways it's far more stressful than running your own actual business, because you have much less control over what's going on.

Eyespying · 28/01/2016 10:44

Patzy85 - A common technique used by hypnotists, is to get their subjects to start at 10 000 and count backwards.

The video that Xenu1 posted perfectly demonstrates how 'MLM' adherents are actually being tricked into following self-hypnotic techiques involving the contemplation of (financial) infinity.

Ritual meditation techniques - such as moving and chanting - + the contemplation of infinity are widely-employed in traditional religions, and cults, to induce a state of self-hypnosis where all higher critical, and evaluative, functions shut-down leaving the adherent's mind clear for non-rational Utopian beliefs to take hold .

Patzy85 · 28/01/2016 10:49

Fintan - yep, you won't get a straight answer when it comes to actual earnings but wildly embellished answers when it comes to potential earnings.

Side note - so many of them call themselves things such as 'wellness coach' yet look like the back of a bus they're eating more than just supplements, if you know what I mean!

Eyespying · 28/01/2016 10:50

Fintan - In blame the victim 'MLM' cultic rackets, adherents have absolutely no control over what is going on, but they are constantly told that they are 'Independent Business Owners.'

By this closed logic, when inevitably powerless victims lose their shirts, they can easily be convinced that it was entirely their own fault.

To describe this type of criminal enterprise fucking evil, is almost an understatement.

Lovewineandchocs · 28/01/2016 11:13

Oh she is v snooty, not down to earth at all. She prides herself on accepting 'no excuses' and having 'no sympathy' for her team if they hadn't done their CCs. At one success day she and her husband spoke-with pride, I might add-about how they were missing their daughter's birthday to be there Shock

Fintan · 28/01/2016 11:15

"By this closed logic, when inevitably powerless victims lose their shirts, they can easily be convinced that it was entirely their own fault."

Because they didn't put enough effort into selling and/or prospecting. It's horrible. But they will bang on about this being the most supportive business ever !Angry

rayofhope · 28/01/2016 11:30

Xenu I was taught the power of 5 with FL too. Makes it sound so achievable, only having to find 5 key people but again, to get the big incentives you have to keep recruiting so it's not a case of just 5 (that would be easy)

Is it really bad I was totally distracted by her dirty thumb nail in the video, give your hands a wash before you put a video on the big wide web for all to see Shock

Fintan your bot will always stay at manager level, you can't drop back even if you leave the business for a while. But if she wants to be paid on her team she MUST do the 4cc per month. It gets really complicated as you go further up the plan but if she got to Sapphire manager (9 direct managers) she gets a far bigger payrise, but those 9 have all got to be active so if even one drops out she will take a serious paycut.

Eyespying · 28/01/2016 11:36

Fintan The most sinister aspect of cultic closed-logic, is making the entry into whatever secure future Utopian exitence is on offer, dependent on the adherent developing blind-faith that he/she will enter it.

In other words, the first cost of entry into a cultic Fool's Paradise, is always the surrender of your critical, and evaluative, faculties.

In 'MLM' cults, the religious concept of 'blind faith' has been cleverly translated into '100% positive mindset.'

Over the decades, tens of millions of 'MLM' adherents have failed, and continue to fail, to achieve the Earthly Fool's Paradise know as 'total financial freedom'. Most 'MLM' victims have preferred to cling to the ego protecting false belief that they could have achieved success if only they had developed a totally-positive mindset and worked harder.

rayofhope · 28/01/2016 11:40

Someone was asking me earlier in the thread why 'going for no' was important. We're taught that the more no's you get the closer you are to the yes's as really it just comes down to statistics.

I was taught that contacting 12 'warm' people (so people you already know) will normally result in 6 wanting more information (you do a 121 with them), 3 of them will then want to attend a BP and out of those 3, 1 will sign to your business.

It comes back to the powers of attraction, so if you get lots of no's at the start your Yes's are just around the corner and imagine if you stopped contacting before then? That would be quitting before the good stuff happens. A lot of the top ones say about how they were just about to quit but they just kept going and suddenly it all came together
