Still continuing the discussion of the various network marketing schemes or multi-level marketing schemes (MLMs) that people we know are involved in.

If you have an MLM bot of your own then join us and share their claims and content.

Or if you are researching a company before signing up to be a network marketer please take a look at the previous threads here and here and also this thread which delves deeper into the workings of MLMs.

And don't forget our very own MN MLM Timeless Vie!

Toobusy are your numbers based on earning their CCs through retailing products only and not recruiting?

I converted the CCs to cash amounts. Recruiting people could be used instead of cash but the percentages got complicated because you only get a percentage of your downline's CCs.

The level one plan needs you (and a percentage of your downline) to bring in 150CCs a month. The level three plan is 300 CCs.

I've been concerned about the trend in boys advising people on JSA to claim for the New Enterprise allowance. Once you look into it, it seems like a really bad idea.

There is info here about it- www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/151004/response/365568/attach/3/24%20Procedural%20guidance%2025%20Feb%2013.pdf This site is the info given to job centre staff .

In a nutshell it involves having a mentor to help you develop a business plan and then have it approved. If approved you can claim the NEA.

BUT- you have to stop your claim to JSA and lose things like automatic entitlement to housing benefit. The assumption is that you are now working full time so don't need JSA. The bits don't mention that do they?

Brilliant work finding this stuff guys, it's a real eye opener how crazy these bots are. I came across this video which I think sums up perfectly in the first few seconds what the FL business opportunity is really about. A new one to me as well at 11 mins 20 is apparently a 6cc incentive where the bots are given the privilege of a trip to "Coopers Castle" how exciting.

Grrr the car plan thing irritates me, even if by some miracle you qualified for it every month, it certainly does not cover the lease on a Range Rover. My work car allowance pays a lot more and it would definitely not stretch to a Range Rover, so stop telling me your daft car is #paidfor - it's not. You are blatantly making the lease payments on your credit card!

sminkypink · 04/01/2016 17:13

And don't you really get stung with tax if you get a leased car for work. Even my accountant advised us not to use our car for work if we didn't need to because of the tax! Eats away at your residual income, ahem! I have turned leasehold car down when I was an employed design manager. Didn't want to get screwed for tax or stuck in traffic. Quite happy to get the tube.

sminkypink · 04/01/2016 17:15

Wonder if Dana International was actually an FL bot? She had the right name!

How are everyone's bots getting on with the C9?

By 10am this morning one of my bots was already posting about how "more energised and alert" she feels on the first day.

The other was talking about how C9 is helping her kick start a healthy lifestyle "without having to diet & live on shakes & juices". But this article says that C9 involves shakes so I have no idea what she's on about.

Frisk · 04/01/2016 18:41

Help!

I listened to that Vimeo and now I can't get it off my iPad. On phone now.

Normally I tap top right corner.

acatcalledjohn · 04/01/2016 18:43

She is ingesting shakes and juices from sachets in order to avoid - wait for it - shakes and juices?

I bet she'll still visit Maccy D's twice a week as a 'treat' for the DCs herself because C9 will keep her slim. Hmm

Stoopid cow. These bots have no concept whatsoever of healthy eating.

Frisk · 04/01/2016 18:53

I'm sorted (by neighbour)

It's really boring so I noted some gems to save you the pain.

'Do as much preparation as you can so you are prepared to be spontaneous'

'I find myself talking about it all the time'

I talk to strangers (gymn, in the street)'

''It's all about having fun'

'Read the forums.'

I love the last one. Wish they'd read this forum.

McNo · 04/01/2016 19:20

Lots of C9 pictures from the bots today, one of mine showing of her shake and looking very happy...

stopfaffing · 04/01/2016 19:22

Frisk, I wonder if they are reading this thread, it is after all open to the public. If they are reading these mlm threads, they ain't posting a defence.

Toobusytowee · 04/01/2016 19:46

Here's a bot explaining how to make money with FL. www.foreverrandell.com/how-do-i-earn-money-with-forever-living-products/

At one point she advises being your own best customer!

Frisk · 04/01/2016 20:13

I'm reading the comments on Quinoa's link and Emma Cooper herself has just popped up (March 2015, if you want to scroll down).

Hope she pops in here to say hi!

lazycoo · 04/01/2016 20:37

I have read David brear's article twice before but hadn't noticed the comments until you mentioned EC popped up! I thought he was rather kind with her.

David, if you're reading this thread, just want to say hi and to keep up the good work.

Emma, if you're reading this thread, just want to say hi and ask whether you've had a chance to reflect on the way FL have so publicly used you and made you look a greedy fool. The sooner your blinkers come off, the better. You - personally - no hiding behind anyone, are and will continue to be the cause of financial hardship for some people who actually believe the lies you say. How can you sleep at night? Please do let me know.

Frisk · 04/01/2016 20:45

He doesn't seem to think much of 'the mumsnet crowd' (Sept 2015ish).

We are sitting on the fence but leaning heavily in one direction.
Finding it 'hysterically funny'.

After all the blood and tears behind 'timeless vie'!

darceybussell · 04/01/2016 21:04

David is still posting on the other thread - he dropped in today actually to say that he had been approached by a journalist just before Christmas

Frisk · 04/01/2016 21:11

That's brilliant, Darcy.
