Continuing the discussion of the various network marketing schemes or multi-level marketing schemes (MLMs) that people we know are involved in.

If you have a bot of your own then join us and share what they are saying!

Or if you are researching a company before signing up to be a network marketer please take a look at the previous bot watch thread and also this thread which delves deeper into the workings of MLMs.

And don't forget our very own MN MLM Timeless Vie!

Ooh while wasting time on Etsy I have found the idea Christmas present for the bot in your life. You're all very welcome.

Obviously only works if you haven't been blocked by them between now and Christmas.

Can you imagine anyone who is actually in any position of authority referring to themselves as BossBabe?

Anonymous gifting. We could report back on the FB posts about the #totesawesome #bossbabe gifts...

fastdaytears · 16/11/2015 21:22

that would be so, so #totesawesome

That cup would be quite manky after a week of JP though. Can you even imagine.

lazycoo · 16/11/2015 21:36

Hi all the new people Grin!

My newest FLbot had a FB party last Sunday with three other bots. 1400 invited and only 60 confirmed (not that you need to 'confirm' to watch the carnage unfold). Most of the chat was the other bots so I don't think it went well. Hoping people are getting wise to this now.

Final series of Peep Show has started. Really think Jeremy and SuperHans should set up a MLM.

fastdaytears · 16/11/2015 21:38

Jeremy did one really early on didn't he? Something to do with washing up liquid?

Need to rewatch. It was amazing inremember that.

acatcalledjohn · 16/11/2015 21:52

This one is cheaper, last!

Or, if the bot is a JP seller, then this clear tumbler may just end up becoming their new advertising 'gadget'

fastdaytears · 16/11/2015 21:53

Oh wow there's a whole industry of this crap!

CheekySmile · 16/11/2015 21:54

Haha!

Enjoy!!

It's not a pyramid scheme. It's a pie.

All coming back to me now.

fastdaytears · 16/11/2015 22:00

ez: The first thing to say would be that this is not pyramid selling.
Mark: You're doing pyramid selling?!
Jez: No, no, not pyramid selling.
Mark: I can't believe you're into pyramid selling.
Jez: Listen, listen. It's not pyramid selling, it's... network... marketing and it's a guaranteed money making... Mark! I've seen the, the charts!
Mark: Oh the "charts". There are "charts". Why didn't you tell me about the "charts".
Jez: Are you... trying to... piss on my bonfire?
Mark: I'm trying to... protect you from... pissing all over yourself.
Jez: I'm not about to piss... all over myself. I'm... I'm pissing into the... bigtime.
Mark: Listen, Jeremy, you don't seem to understand. Nothing you want is ever going to happen. That's the real world. Your hair isn't red, people don't walk around on stilts. Maybe somewhere you can earn a living sitting around, drinking margaritas through a curly plastic straw, but in this world, you've got to turn up, log on and grind out.
Jez: But, yeah, if you get in early ...

Haha! I'd forgotten that one.

Tiramisu. This is fucking great! must rewatch all of PS

All these daft-arse MLMers just make me think of Jeremy. Quite apart from the massive con of 'social selling' there's just no dignity in it. Buy my £5 toothpaste, go on, be a mate...

bettyberry · 16/11/2015 22:37

Clean 9 breakfast :O

I'd rather have my bacon tbh

I am actually disappointed that the lady I have screen shotted this from has got into JP....she has had cancer herself and I can't believe that she really believes all the shit...

FATEdestiny · 16/11/2015 22:58

I'd like to join. My next door neighbour has done various network marketing schemes over the last few years. Currently Arbonne and some jewellery business I can't recall the name of.

What annoys me is she has recently recruited another friend of mine who is very vulnerable at the moment (recently separated from DH and first time single parent to 4).

I can cope with her sickening inspirational quotes and the fact that she is #buzzing all the time and all that shit. I can easily decline all invitations to attend parties/meetings or buy anything. But having taken advantage ofrecruited someone at such a low point in her life, it is dreadful.

sminkypink · 16/11/2015 23:24

My gosh, just had a look at Stella & Dot, flippin' expensive for what it is. (I work in fashion) ten dollar necklace for £170. Wow.

FATEdestiny · 16/11/2015 23:44

Stella and Dot - that's the one. My neighbour is pushing Arbonne skincare and Stella and Dot jewellery at the same time. Retail but mostly recruitment. Aren't I lucky Hmm

indieblack · 16/11/2015 23:44

Anyone heard of Paycation? Have a new bot all #travelforfree #holidays #joinmeinIbiza any questions answered with inbox me hun. No idea what this scam is but she seems to spend more time in conference centres than at the beach.

CheekySmile · 17/11/2015 07:48

Have just checked with with the netmums FL thread. Comment #453 by Agnes might be enough for me to sign up to that site and reply...

I do enjoy trolling the huns, they dislike tellling you about the scam in public don't they? It's against their religion, hun.

sminkypink · 17/11/2015 08:31

I asked one, whats the big secret, you've set up a page it's a total mystery as to what you're actually doing. U could've just inboxed me hun. But why can't you say here, in public? Inbox me hun. Arrgh!

acatcalledjohn · 17/11/2015 08:32

Ooh, look on NetHuns now!

I take requests.

SocksRock · 17/11/2015 08:44

Inbox is NOT a verb. Grrrr....
