Next door keeps racing pigeons and keeps them in a huge, very expensive looking wooden outhouse.
I've never really been that bothered with them before but recently the bird poo seems to be increasing.
He lets them out everyday and they spends hours just flying in circles around our the gardens in the neighbourhood, swooping over our garden the most to land on top of their enclosure.
The poo's all over our fence, the grass, trees, patio, conservatory windows, garden table and chairs. There's no way I'll be able to let ds play outside this summer.
So my questions are:
What legal rights have I (if any) to ask next door to keep the pigeons inside?
How can I ask him without getting his back up (we don't really talk to each other, it's just a hello if we both happen to meet outside.)
Does bird flu affect pigeons?
How long does the bird flu virus stay alive in bird droppings? i.e., does dried poo pose the same risk as fresh poo?
