Has anyone managed to work out a spreadsheet to give an idea if they will get anything from April?????

I keep reading the thresholds but can't work out how they work?

Thanks for that info! It is so frustrating for all of us as many are living on such tight budgets that even a small change makes a massive difference. I called them today and found that they won't take maintenance payments into account yet - but no promises for when the universal credit comes in.

As for changes in payments this month I got a letter today stating that between now and the end on March I may receive a payment I was not expecting Hmm due to changes they need to make in their system in preparation for next year???? But - other payments will be slightly lower to take this into account Confused

Ok they have published the 'rates and thresholds'for 2011 on www.hmrc.gov.uk/rates/taxcredits.htm so you can work out next years payments by using the examples (which is not easy argh!)
