I have posted one of the books I received to Andirobo this morning -- it was Duffpancake's book.

Perhaps we can have a round-up of who's got which books, to see where we're at?

I've finally started reading your last-years-book Duufpancake.

Still no this-years-book though.

It looks like all the other books from Yogabird to EPPm on the list are with EPPM and/or Janeite.

Any ideas how we can kick start this one again? I'm not ready to give up.

I'd like to continue too. We need to be a bit more organised/disciplined in sending on the first monday of the month, whether they were read or not - let's face it, if it was too crappy a book to read in a whole month then you should just unload it, stick it back in the envelope and let it go!! Life is too short to struggle with rubbishy books - if it doesn't work for you - give up and post it on - don't be a book-hog!
So, if you have more than one, it's over to you...do you have any ideas of how we can get this back together? I would like to cos I've read some really good stuff since the circle started

I have 3 here, all read, and can go to whoever needs them...

I've just finished Bookswapper's book and can post on soon as I can get to the PO.

Yogabird has a good point about sticking to the posting date -- the trouble is that if it starts to slip then it's not fair that the person who receives it doesn't get a whole month to read it. E.g. I only received my book for February on the 16th so there's no way I would have been able to post it by March 1st.

Just received Janeite's book - so that makes me only about 3 books behind now That is my December book! Luckily I have read it already so will post it on to Galen soon. Ho hum. i agree with yogabird. Just post it off if you don't want to/haven't time to read it.

I also agree in theory with trying to post on time. If I get a book, I am usually ok with that, but until we clear the backlogs in the circle it isn't really going to work.

Utterly guilty of late posting here (though I don't have anything at the moment). I promise to be more prompt if we can revive the swap, I'd really like to keep it going if we can!

what about the first Monday in May as the next time you should post unless you know that your receiver in the circle is bookless - in which case you need to get on with it and get to the PO asap!!! That should give us all sufficient time to finish the book we have, add a few words to the sheet in side (which seems to be going very well , time to wrap with care and get down to the PO. < adopts bossy tone> Then we need to stay on track in May ready to post the first Monday in June - if you've booked a holiday, then factor it in girls!
What do you all think?

Sounds good to me

The only book I have to post is last years one of yours Duffpancake, which I have now finished and will put in the post this week.

I've found Galen's email and sent her a message asking if she is in or out. I would wait before posting the next one to her, Wendy, until we hear, as you may end up posting straight to me if she is not able to rejoin.

I have a book here that is finished. I am confused - are we waiting until May - so not posting until then? So I will not get a book in april? I am being dense! I currently have Duffpancakes fab book!
