I've just finished and posted Flame's bonus book--don't think there's a thread for it so I might start one.

it's all falling apart, isn't it? No comments on mine since January - has it disappeared into a black hole? CAn anyone really be bothered any more? I have not had a book this month either.

Any suggestions as to what we should do?

I'm still not sure where all the missing books have gone. But I have almost finished Jas's book and will post this week (as soon as DS2 recovers from slapped cheek so I can get out to the PO!).

Balls - I meant to post today. I haven't finished reading, but in sorting shelves the other day I found a copy of it I already own

I would say please, Wendy, don't send anything else to Galen....she has at least four books and only ever sent the very first one on to me.
I've had no reply to the most recent email I sent, and have to accept that we aren't going to get them back I think.

I think I am going to bow out. I have no book to post and no idea where mine is up to. It's been fun but has lost momentum I think. Hardly any comments on the threads set up to discuss, people seem not to be really interested Pity cos I did read some good stuff, esp from Cynarasamba.

NB I have written something about all of mine, but have mainly done it on the bit of paper in with the book, rather than online.

I haven't commented on threads that's true, but I have written something each month (and loved reading others' comments too- it was a fantastic idea!)

My book had a nice outing to the post office in the nappy bag on Monday. Unfortunately I couldn't remember why I was there so it stayed in there!!

Oh, dear. So you need another text once you are in town?!

OK here's an idea...

Those of us who are still interested, start a new group and recruit a few more members if needed.

Then, instead of posting books (which experience shows just breaks down way too easily) one member of the group picks a book each month, which everyone else can either get from Amazon or the library. Thus everyone reads the same book each month, no posting necessary, and we have one thread a month discussing that month's book. Book length can be limited to eg 300 pages to make sure everyone can finish them.

Anyone with me?

I think I've changed my mind.
I know this year has failed totally,but the last tow worked, and I really liked the surprise book in the post,so I am signing up with a new circle someone else has started.

I will read and post to Duffpancake anything I may recieve from either Wendy or Galen though.

Hi Jas Galen who is now OFM is still on the Flylady thread, I will ask her about the books.
I don't have a book at the minute either, who knows what has happened to them all! Sounds like OFM has them all!
What a shame this hasn't worked ... I have read four brilliant books I wouldn't otherwise have read through it.

I've just finished Galen's book (a really good one imo) so will post on to Andirobo next week
