Summer Book Swap?

Following on from the chat about blind dates with books, speak up here if you fancy doing a book swap.

@tobee - not had mine either. I sent on at the beginning of the month, before the date change notification.

Mine hasn’t arrived yet either - must admit I’m getting a bit cheesed off - don’t think it’s ever been on time.

I have posted, and got mine today.

Glad everyone has got their books

I have just finished my final book, which I really liked (left a longer comment in the thread). I'm a bit sad that the swap has come to an end but very thankful for all the great books I have read which I probably would not have discovered otherwise. There has not been any that were disappointing - I enjoyed every single one, although for different reasons.

Personally I might step out if we are going to do another swap straight away, mainly because my pile of to-be-read at home is has grown a lot over the last couple of months (birthdays, etc) and I need to get on top of it. Would potentially be up for another swap at some point in the future though. Thanks again everyone for making this happen

I think I’ll step out too, as I too have a pile of books to be read , it’s been fun , my 2 sons will miss the monthly chocs they managed to nab them before I got a chance !!

I'm another one who'll step out please. I've enjoyed doing it, but the pile of TBR books by my bed is growing ever bigger, and with limited reading time available to me, I'd like to start working my way through that pile before it topples over!

do we swap one more time then donate to charity or post back to the original book owner?

I am ready to swap. I would love to stay in the book club if it continues. It would be great if group one and two could be swapped around somehow.

Ahhh damn. Just realised how late I am!! Would be deffo interested in another round!!

I think I'm going to duck out of continuing the swap as I've also got a massive lot of my own books piling up.

It's been good though. It's interesting to see what people have selected. It's also help me read more physical books again after using kindle and giving up after reading the sample.
