Oh sorry to hear you didn't find your missing book either, @mygastisflabbered :(

Probably too late now but I ordered my replacement from Amazon and got it sent directly to my recipient - the cost of the book including postage was actually no more than the price I would have paid simply to post the book for myself (though obvs I had to pop the chocolate into the post separately)

Fizzy Yes exactly - that will be our final swap (as in getting our own books back) though, so it doesn't really matter when we post.

My final book looks really good! Luckily I just finished my previous book this afternoon so ready to get into it straight away.

Thank you everyone for helping this run smoothly - I've really enjoyed it and read some great books. Especially thanks to Keith for behind-the-scenes organising and to Etihad for very efficient posting to me and a great taste in chocolate!

Maybe the two groups are different? I'm in group 2.
Personally, I have already received my own book back as it was easier for the sender to send the last two together. I might have got muddled but I think everyone else should be getting their own books back in Feb?

In Group 1 we definitely have one more proper swap to go before we return books (or not).

I'm a bit confused by Group 2 as a couple of the books went AWOL and the book I have just received (thank you :) ) isn't on my original list. I will send out a couple of PMs to try to work out where we're at.

I think they should both be at the same point, as there were 9 people in each (that was the reason I put myself into both, so they would be even and finish at the same time)

I'm happy for my original book to be kept or charity shopped rather than sent back to me. I couldn't find my copy so bought another for the swap but I've since found it so I don't need 2 copies!

I've worked out where we're at - we're no longer in sync, because we lost a member of group 2.

Group 2, the book you have just been sent is the last one. If you would like your book back, please can you post here to say so, otherwise I would suggest that we donate them to the charity shop (it's fine to ask for them back though of course!)

Group 1, there is still one further swap to go which I would suggest 14 February although we might need to delay it a little further as there are a couple of books MIA at the moment

Sorry to hear that people are missing their January books. @queenie72, @heismyopendoor, @rosehiphoney, have you posted? If there's been a problem your end please can you let me or your recipient know please; otherwise we may have a lost in the post situation :(

Just in case it comes up, mine was late posting but I did it first class so should be there Monday - hopefully! Sorry, I had the book ready to go, it was getting to somewhere to buy the chocolate that was the issue!

Looking at the list I don't think I have read that one yet - but I'm easily confused! Confused

Currently got Book 4 which I will pass on to the charity shop as requested!

Still no book today.

That's a week past the (extended) date. Not sure I've once had my book on time. Just feel a bit disappointed.
