Confession time . . . . . jobnockey I'm afraid I haven't posted your book and chocolate. I've taken it on two holidays (it's well travelled) and still not finished it (wrong type of holidays for reading).

My back up plan was to send it to you as usual and borrow a copy from the library to finish it, but I've looked at the online catalogue and they don't have it. Sad I wondered if you'd mind me keeping it a few more days and then I could send it first class.

How are you getting on with A Little Life? I have to read it for book club but not until Oct. I'm really intrigued after reading a few reviews.

Jennywreny, that's absolutely fine, I'm about a 3rd of the way through 'A Little Life' so I won't be finishing it any time soon!

I'm really enjoying it actually, I was warned that the first bit was quite hard to get through but I haven't found that. The characters are all so beautifully written I feel like I know them all personally. I'll let you know what I think of it by the end as still a way to go...

I'm afraid it's too late to join this swap as we are a few months into it. It's great fun though so why not start a new thread and set up a new one. There were definitely some others who were too late to join. If you read through the beginning of this thread you should be able to see how it works.

My book arrived this morning, thank you FlyinDreams and thank you for all the chocolate! The postman broke it all though when he opened the porch door and slung the parcel in! I can't start reading yet as I'm a third of the way through something else, looks interesting though!

Aw, that's good to hear. Wish I could sit watching TV in my pants! I'm so warm and I'm only wearing a loose maxi dress and underwear! Baby has shifted position and I keep getting a kick to the ribs too - ouch!

I hope GreenYogaGirl is ok. FlysInDreams I think, if I worked it out right, that you are due to get my book. If it would help I could pm you the title and you could maybe either borrow it from a library or if you have a kindle, you could download the sample so that you could start.

So sorry only posted today! Was in rush for a wedding at the weekend and couldn't cram book and choc in the envelope. Sent 1st class so hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday. Haven't got mine either mariqui by the way.

Hello all I'm so so sorry Sad
My son hasn't been very well on top of his other issues and there was a death in the family so my scatterbrain put the book at the back of my head. I'll send a little extra to say sorry, I'm literally about to head out to the post office xx
I'm not great at updating threads but with a bit of luck my son will be at school and not excluded next week and I'll have time!
