Our "lovely" book swap is now closed again and off we go for 2011.

Are you thinking of your books that you might be putting in? I will have a look and post mine within the next few days. - I will try harder than my awful one from last time, that none of you liked. Blush

I do agree that would be best, really. The books she has now will only be sent back to their owners, so it would just be a bit of a wait for those who havent had them back yet. I am not bothered waiting for mine, in fact I dont want it back, so whoever has it, save your postage! Smile

I agree. I will send on a new book for the new round to Chickflit for February so that she has something to send on in March.

Hi all, my DS is snoozing, it is bitterly cold today and I'm having a pajama day. We cycled for 2 hours yesterday so I feel less guilty doing nothing (and skipping church....)

Not really much else to add, but I have such a great DH and it makes me sad, is all! I have a young colleague who is currently involved in a real bad relationship and part of me just want to shout: 'Get out, be loved!' but I know life is not that simple.

I've bought the book Badlands by Belinda Bauer, has any of you read it? It's a first novel and won a few prizes. if it's nice I could pass it along. Adieu!

We are off to a "co-operative games" workshop in a couple of minutes, will be interesting to see if the DS get into it or still need to "win".

Hi all, sorry I've been a bit quiet lately, real life catching up on me.

DH has today taken my book home and will post on tomorrow to HC1 who I know has now name changed but I can't be bothered to go and look for her new name.

I have two books from the last round, neither of which I've read yet sorry - they both arrived at the same time. I'm still reading one of my Christmas books (gone are the days of rattling through a book in a week). Obviously I'll prioritise reading February's books and then send these others on to JJ and Loler (I think) once I get them read.

Hope everyone is OK - fortunately my work is picking up here, unfortunately both DC's have been ill for the last 10 days, starting with tummy bugs and going into flu.

I have just packaged up February's book to send to you, will put it in the post tomorrow or Tuesday.

It's quite short so you should be able to get through it !

No rush for mine back at all, I'm in a similar situation to you, in that I still have 2 books from the last swap too.

Hope you have escaped the flu and bugs yourself.

Major, nah, don't worry about posting it back. My shelves are heaving and Dh is nagging me to do a cull of them, to make room for some more of his. Hmm

LBADG any sign of a book coming my way?

DH has gone to the mainland today and is going to pick me up a kindle. Mega excited. I dont think it will totally replace my books, but I am excited to give it a try. (another ploy for Dh to have more shelf space for books, I think.)

Hi PA. Still no sign of your book here but DS2's bday present from the UK from my mum took about 10 days to get here recently so no worry yet - is it a long one?

My book has just arrived today so I'll get down to reading it at the weekend, it's not too long.

5ofus we usually post on at the end of the month so everybody has their new book within the first few days of the new month. But if you want to post on now I'm sure whoever receives from you won't complain, you just might have to wait a couple of weeks for your next book.

Glad to hear yours arrived Chickflit, it seems to take ages for stuff to get to you.

I have finished this month's one (v. good PA, well done) and will get it in the post asap to avoid any delay.

Mine is v. short so shouldn't take you long Chickflit.
