Ttc concieve after miscarrige

Hey, I have very recently suffered a miscarrige (heavy bleeding started 1st feb) at 6+2. Had a scan today to confirm the sac had passed and my hcg is now 22. Keen to start trying again. Anyone else in the same situation? Also very scared. Nervous we won't fall pregnant and if we do, scared it will happen again x

@lollypops2303 I was told to wait until my first period and a negative pregnancy test to start trying again. It never crossed my mind to do ovulation tests after my mmc! But surely after a first period you could start testing whether you’re ovulating? But I’m not sure! Xx

@Squidtentacles hopefully it all comes away with your first period 🤞 I miscarried on the EPU so I was scanned there and still had a small bit of tissue remaining so opted for medical management. I suspect (or hope!) everything has now come away!

@ChaE05 thanks for your suggestion! I did an opk and a hcg test this morning. Hcg looked negative, maybe a slight shadow line and opk was low!

@lollollypops2303 i would take that as a really good sign. Continue to test your ovulation daily from now on and look out for all your other signs...ewcm etc 😊 x

I got back from holiday today...and my period was late. Got my bfp 13dpo 🥹 I'm soooo happy but also so so anxious x

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I fell pregnant (and got to term) pretty much immediately after miscarriages, just a cycle or two in between.

@Laria19 so I'm 4 weeks today. 14dpo and to be honest I am concerned about how dark my line is. Defo not as dark as yours. Yesterday and today seem the same so if it hasn't gotten darker by tomorrow I'll be worried this isn't progressing and may be a chemical xx

Sometimes it doesn’t matter about how dark the line is but maybe try use a test that requires more hcg?Try not to panic though, how are you feeling x

@Laria19 I think testing tomorrow will give me a better idea as it should have darkened by then. I just did a digital which showed pregnant. I feel sicky now and again and I'm absolutely shattered. Looking after this 15 month old is no fun right now 😅 how are you feeling x

Have you had a chemical before?I had and it sucked. Ah I know what it’s like to run after toddlers I have two of them 😂

@Laria19 another test this morning and not any darker. I'll post my first test next to the one this morning. Just feeling so worried now.
No I haven't had a chemical...how did it look for you? I really hate not knowing. I'm wondering if my doc would do some blood tests to check my hcg etc? I'm not sure they will x

The 'cross' style test was my first 2 days ago and the other is this morning x

Do do seem on the lighter side but that being said maybe you ovulated later than think? Or you just naturally have low hcg levels ? I tested with the early digital tests and didn’t get a positive untill the day after my period I wasn’t even getting a faint line with the regular resell tests and I have before with my other two pregnancies and then I tested two days later and I got a negative on another digital test, later that evening I started to bleed like a regular period. I didn’t bother going to the doctor because I knew what it was but If you feel like it might help you understand what’s going on there’s no harm in making an appointment x

I sadly miscarried again 😪 I knew it was coming. 2 in a row now...feels quite concerning.
Will see if I ovulate at my usual time. Hope everyone is doing well xx

So sorry to hear that, how far gone where you?I had two min a row an early and a chemical then I took a break and tried around Christmas and nothing stuck untill now. How are you feeling x

@Laria19i was exactly 5 weeks when I started bleeding. I was 6 and half weeks the one before. To be honest, physically, this one just felt like a period. The one before was much worse.
That's kind of how I feel right now, I'm scared to try again. Hoping it was just really bad luck. So it took you a couple of cycles once you started trying? How are you feeling ☺️ how many weeks are you now x

Ah similar to me then. It sounds like you might’ve had a chemical then because my chemical was more like a period.on the bright side it means that you can the next month. Ye after my two back to back it took me 2 cycles, the second miscarriage happened in October so I have November a break and started trying again around Christmas. I feel good this time so fingers crossed everything is going right for me this time around. Currently 6+3 and have a early scan booked with the hospital for 8 weeks x

@Laria19yes, they mentioned a chemical at epu. I was bleeding a week after my positive test. But I just spent the whole week waiting for it to open. I've started to do ovulation sticks, we will try again and see. Just the worry and stress about if we will fall and then if it will happen again. The whole process it's so mentally draining and tough.
I'm so so pleased everything is going well so far! Have they booked you in for an early scan because of your previous losses? X
