Anybody had three miscarriages then gone on to have a succesful pregnancy? I have had three now and am awaiting date to go to recurrent mc clinic. Just wondering if anybody has any nice stories to give me incentive to continue trying.

Hi Frogger,we had blood tests all for the cause of recurrent m/c. Can,t remember each one in detail but they'll test for the clotting, hormone, chromosome problem etc. I had 6 vials of blood taken and my partner had 1. Think the guys only need to be tested for chromosome abnormalities. It was all done very quickly but the results will be a couple of months. I,m attending Glasgow Royal Inf. I hope your coping ok, I know how you feel,it's a tough time. My best wishes. xx

Thanks for getting back to me Karney. I had my appointment yesterday and they took 12 vials of blood from me and one from my husband. I am being seen at the edinburgh royal infirmary. I should get the results in 6-8 weeks.Half of me now wants to ttc again and the other half wants to wait until we get results back.

Hi Frogger, We,ve decided to wait fot test results before we do anything else. I too am tempted to ttc again but to be honest I,m not emotionally ready for it all and whatever the test results are will kinda dictate our next move. It's been too tough a time lately and I feel i,m just starting to heal. Seen a M/c counseller yesterday. That was quite difficult but I talked as openly as I could, came out feeling I'd been "through the mill" but it was ok. For me it's all hopes and fears but trying to stay in the positive. I send my best wishes for the best possible outcome for you both. Be good to yourself. xxxx
