Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Am I definitely miscarrying?

Hi,

I am about 6 weeks, over the weekend had brown mucous discharge, this gradually increased and on Monday was spotting blood.
I had a scan at EPU who saw a heartbeat and said all was well.
However today bleeding has got heavier, like the start of a period, with some small clots.
Feeling pretty despondent, assuming its over. I am going in for a scan tomorrow morning to see what has happened.
Any advice?

Thanks

Chicken. I know it's hard but try not to panic. My housemate had this at about 8 weeks. Cue panicked rush to hospital and all was well, she's now got two beautiful boys and both had period like bleeding throughout pregnancy. apparently some women will have a small bleed regularly through their pregnancy. A heartbeat is a really positive sign

Given the op has seen the posts there's not quite as much urgency to delete.
those two posters only seem to have posted on one other thread each, which was in feminism and was about how much they enjoy masturbation. So I think it's all very clearthat they are juzt nasty little internet vviruses

Thanks everyone. I have a toddler so can't rest too much! I have a friend coming round soon so not on my own.
I think the worst is over and don't feel too bad today.

chicken, I am so, so sorry... I have no words. I lost a much wanted baby over a year ago to MC and my heart broke.

I've reported the excuses for a human being that thought this was good trolling ground.

They've been playing in the feminism topic too. Only there it's merely predictable crap as opposed to offensive.

I'm sorry for what you are going through, and also sorry that some of the hard of thinking brigade have posted on this thread.

I mc'd a 6 week foetus (but at 8 weeks - it was a mmc) and bled for 2 weeks in total. Only a couple of really bad days on which clots were pouring out of me and then about a week and a half of something similar to a period. So you might well have more to come. I just wanted you to be prepared. If there is a clot blocking the cervix that will slow things down temporarily.
