Selfish post but......OMG OMG OMG.............I have a feint line, I'm 3 days late, I have a feint line, I'm in a major panic and can't get hold of my docs to get the Heparin.......I can't believe it as it usually takes us FOREVER to get a BFP...........yey but massive fear!!

That's brilliant, Polka hope you can get hold of the doctor today. I remember that panic so well - you need to be doing everything immediately I was so frustrated it didn't seem to be that big a deal to everyone at the GPs. Everything crossed for you.

Thanks baking managed to get through the ferocious receptionist and actually speak to the docs who is squeezing me in this evening - phew!

Managed to get docs to prescribe heparin, trekked about to find a pharmacy that actually stocks it and jabbed myself too, needle fine but drug burns like a biatch but if it works who cares!

Welcome to the EW and Norma. You've been given some really good advice already but hope you're doing ok. Its such a hard time.

Baking wishing you loads of luck with ttc and the treatment plan. Sounds really positive and amazing to have found a consultant you can really trust & who knows what theyre talking about. Its so important.

Polka tentative congratulations!!! Hang on in there. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Just a quick update from me as I had my 20 week scan today and all was perfect!! Absolutely massive relief and I really feel like a huge weight has been lifted and have been so chatty and upbeat today - like my pre-rmc self!!! Also found out its a boy!! The gestational diabetes is still a total pain as I seem to be losing weight as I'm so strict with my diet and the doctors are worrying but can cope with all that! So happy.

Thanks Baking! Funny you should say that as one of the reasons we found out the sex is because the name is such a contentious issue between me and DH! Can't wait to start obsessing about changing bags...!

Polka - I'm finding the same with injecting Clexane. I think that if you keep holding the bit you've injected for 20 secs or so instead of letting it go straight away it doesn't sting as much. I've managed to do it once that way with no pain whatsoever and have been trying to replicate that since, but is a bit hit or miss! I'm also inserting progesterone pessaries twice a day :-( - neither is particularly pleasant, but like you say, if it works then who cares!

Tea - amazing news on your 5 month scan. That is a big milestone and a boy is lovelys news (do you have a girl already?). I've got all my fingers and toes crossed that everything continues smoothly and the little man doesn't give you any dramas.

On a slightly unrelated subject, are you looking pregnant now at 5 months? I accepted a new job the week I got the positive pregnancy test (bad timing, but not going to complain!) and I'm hoping that if things go well I can keep the pregnancy covered up until I'm 4-5 months while I prove I can do the job... Even typing that is weird for me because I can't envisage getting to 5 months or ever looking pregnant! x

Thank you Guppie! Yes I have a DD already so a boy will be very exciting!

I don't envy you having to inject. The finger pricking to take my sugar levels is bad enough. I'm a bit nervous about injecting if I need insulin.

I think I am showing quite a lot now although I think if you didn't know me you might not notice....but sure you would if I worked with someone. However with my DD I was hardly showing at all by this stage as I had really strong stomach muscles from going to the gym quite a bit. I could have probably hidden it til now with that pregnancy particularly if I'd been clever with clothes. This time I had to stop wearing jeans at 8 weeks! I think it has a lot to do with how strong your stomach muscles are. But also if you're bigger generally then its definitely less noticeable. However those that know you might notice the massive boobs!!

Hello ladies, quick question (with tmi, sorry)! My bleeding finally stopped last week, only to be replaced with the most copious amount of cervical mucus discharge ever Shock. It's so much that I have to wear panty liners, if I don't want to have to change my knickers a couple of times a day.
Is that normal? Not had that after any of my previous mcs... I guess if you count the mc as cycle day 1, you could argue that I might be ovulating (it's been two weeks since the mc), and I have tested and got a faint line on the OV sticks. But that line is very faint and has also shown for 4 days in a row now, which it normally never does (cheapie test sticks). But it's really the mucus that I'm concerned about, there is just soooo much!

I would maybe have a chat with gp hun I never had that after 3 mcs r u sure there is no infection is it just normal mucas? X

Just checking in to say hello and huge congrats to Tea and Polka.
I have been keeping a low profile as I am trying to just get on with things right now. I had a (ridiculously) faint line on the pregnancy test last week and got all excited, only to get my period 3 days early. Had a grumpy weekend but have cheered up now. Can't stand seeing pregnant people at the moment though. Doesn't it drive you crazy when people take it so much for granted grrrr.
Hope you are all well.
PS: could we have a statistics thread, pretty please...?

Congrats tea and polka, fingers crossed baking, I also can't stand seeing pregnant people at the moment donttry, I went to the hairdressers today only to find my stylist was pregnant and it was all she could talk about grrrr. Hope everyone else is doing ok xxx

Hello to everyone else sorry I can't name everyone with being off for a while I'm a bit lost off with this thread.

I'm currently post ov how many days I have no idea but I'm just going with it trying to be relaxed about it-we will see how long that lasts! I've got really tender breasts not sure if that's just because I'm post ov think it would be too early for anything else I'm only cd19. Im off to the doctors this morning because of my irregular mid cycle bleeding I already mentioned it to the consultant but she put it down to stress she checked my cervix and said it looked ok I do have an ectropian so that could be the cause but I've started to bleed after sex now so I'm going to check it out again just to be on the safe side, there's always something to worry about!

Hi everyone, A bit of a me me me post as I am in shock. Just had a call from the hospital with the results following my erpc 4 July, molar pregnancy and I have been referred to the specialist in Scotland, so means I'm not experiencing a new pregnancy but haven't been given any more information so I'm panicking now....

purple I had a suspected molar preg so have read a bit about it. First of all big hug because initially its very scary. There is a super thread on here with mrsjohndeere which I found so helpful. I hope you get lots of support. It turned out mine wasn't molar but I remember the first week very well. The miscarriage association have a v good leaflet. In England treatment is at Charing cross and if u Google for them they also have good info. Sorry I can't link on phone.

Purple I had a partial mole (they were never able to confirm how much) but thankfully with monitoring it went away (after a scary blip like for you). 95% of cases do so although scary, may well all be OK! Charing Crosshave a great website with an attached support site with forums.

Jbird I had mucus after my mc but not like that. I agree maybe call your gp. They'll swab you, takes a moment but peace of mind lasts longer!

don't try sorry to hear you've had a rough time.

Butterfly yeah do keep asking about bleeding. Stress sounds a bit of a random reason if you ask me! I've had bleeding etc after mc in the past. It resolved but I made sure I got 2nd opinions...

Purple, sorry to hear about that. It does throw you for six doesn't it, when they find an abnormality? I just didn't know what to think when I got the results of my tissue testing (trisomy 15). Is an alienating, deeply unsettling feeling I think.

I'm off to see the FOOL (i.e. my original consultant) on Wednesday to discuss results of karotyping.

I am getting pain around my ovaries which I never had before. Will mention it to FOOL. Anyone else experience this - my last period had different pains to normal too.
