Have been at EPAU most of today. Had a bleed at about 11am when I went to the toilet. It wasn't bright red, but brown. With no pain.
I was terrified though, as I've had 2 MCs while TTC this baby, and am under consultant for recurrent MC, as have had 4 in total.
EPAU were brilliant. Listened to baby's heartbeat which was strong. Did a speculum exam and a manual vaginal exam. Cervix closed, the doctor said. He classed the bleeding as unexplained, and used the term 'threatened miscarriage'.
Have been told to take it easy at home, but to try and carry on as normal.
Trying to be optimistic, but given my history, am finding it difficult.
I wanted to ask if anyone knew what would happen if I do MC, at 14+ weeks. I feel like I need to be prepared, for DH as well as myself. Thanks so much for reading.
