Does anyone have a meno belly that literally looks like a third trimester pregnancy belly?

@JinglingSpringbells Many thanks. It is -1.8/-2.3. The problem is that I have been doing HRT and optimal diet for 3 years and resistance training (Caroline Girvan iron with up to 30kg dumbbells) for 1 year and in that time my bone density has stayed the same. The only thing I haven't being doing is plyometrics as I have prolapse issues and jumping makes it worse.

I am wondering if my bone density has always just been low because I have a tiny frame (13cm wrists).

Hmmm...that interesting. I'm a similar build.

I suppose one way to look at it is that you aren't getting worse bone loss so what you're doing is keeping it stable.

Out of interest, what dose HRT are you on and what type?
The dose is directly related to the bone density.
Not sure how old you are but you should be on a patch of at last 50mcgs (and could go up to more) and 2 pumps of gel minimum.

I had a really big jump (upwards) in my bone density after a year on HRT and it's still higher than it was,16 years ago. I can't do a lot of weights as I had surgery for prolapse years ago.

Based on advice I've had, you aren't yet at the stage of other meds which can have side effects and the first step would be to up your estrogen dose.

@JinglingSpringbells
I am mid 40s and on evorel 75, utrogestan 200mg and also introduced testosterone 3 months ago. I tried upping my patch to 100 but got unwanted side effects. My oestrogen level is 400 so I think I am absorbing it ok.

Sorry everyone else for derailing this thread.

Thanks @user3344556
Sadly no shops near me and I don't have room for £20 worth of bread in my freezer .
