Is anyone else having problems getting hold of these tablets? I’ve tried everywhere and just can’t get them.
I’ve now got to see if the doctor will give me something similar so have to go back to have my blood pressure checked. Very annoying as I was getting on well with this brand.
Anyone have advice for something similar?

@tescat Apologies for picking up on your post but something puzzled me. If you have been on HRT for 8 years how old are you now? Your dr ought not to suggest you stop unless there are medical reasons for this and you don't have to agree if they suggest it for no good reason.

Were you having unexplained bleeding 8 years into a continuous regime? How was this explained after a normal scan with no hyperplasia seen? What was the lining thickness? (Assume you were told?)

If you are now on another no-bleed type, why are you bleeding again?

This sometimes happens when there is a change of type of HRT and it can happen if women are younger and try no bleed types.

If you did want to carry on and have odd bleeding, they ought to offer a Mirena coil or a different type of patch. (Pill form is not recommended for women over 60.)

@Camper82 lots of women love Femoston as the progestogen in it is similar to our own and fewer side effects.

I was on Elleste conti but have switched to patches now and there doesn’t seem to be a stock shortage so far.

It could be that the biggest downfall of Brexit is thousands of menopausal middle aged woman rampaging around the country in desperate need of HRT!

Thanks @JinglingHellsBells! Hope that’s true for me. Doesn’t seem to take much to disrupt me these days.

My Dr is asking people on patches to have tablets he says there is no shortage of tablets, just patches

@JinglingHellsBells I am 57 and was happily on Elleste Duet Conti for about 8 years (no bleeding ever) I was then given Kliofem as an alternative as my Doctors couldn't get EDC. After about 6 months with no problems I had a small bleed which was alarming. I was given a TVS check, my womb lining was normal and everything fine. I decided maybe it was time to come off HRT so I've started (5 days ago) Kliovance which is a half strength version of above. Second bleed (spotting) happened exactly one month after the first. So far no problems with 1mg dose. Fingers crossed.

Got my patches no problem at all.

I managed to get the elleste duet from boots online pharmacy, and I paid online it didn’t charge me the usual 2 prescriptions that I get charged when I walk into a chemist... thank god I have some!
