I am feeling brave today and want to get out and meet some new people, are there any MN ladies in the Gloucester area who would like to meet up?

swiss I'm back to work for 2 weeks before the start of the summer hols but can do a thursday if anyone else can, or possibly an afternoon meet-up if it was after about 2.30. Will keep eyes peeled.

In other news i noticed that silk had her little girl a few days ago, at home as she planned. Congratulations again to silk!

hi, i'm moving to tewkesbury in 3 weeks, i dont have any children of my own yet (but am working on it!) and am a childminder. would you ladies mind if i were to join you in the future, i dont know anyone in the area, me and dh are upping sticks and moving! [nervous] also does any one know of any nice friendly toddler groups in the area i could take mindees to when i start?

leoni welcome to the area! I have a friend in Northway (nr Tewkes) and I will ask her about toddler groups for you.

monkey and swiss thurs 9th pm is fine with me. Is the tea-room any better there than it was last year? If so I may grab some lunch there.

Hi Lanky and Sazzles, sorry you can't make it to this one. We'll have to sort one out for the holidays and perhaps Silk can bring the brand new one so we can all get broody again.

Hi Leoni, I'm near you. Theres a reasonably frequent Worcester meetup, which is evenings if you wanted to go along to those. The pub is just of J7 of the M5, so very easy to find

Hi everyone, just bumped into Patthehammer on another thread (one I'd started here if anyone wants to give me some advice/comfort/wine) and she tells me there's a meet up soon, couldn't make the last one cause was on holiday.

I'd love to come along too - my DD loves the Dick Whittington play barn and I could do with meeting some other mums just to tell me my DD is lovely (hopefully) and not the devil spawn! Is it am or pm?

I may get there a bit earlier but we can pick a meeting spot for this time (I don't know it that well but I'm sure others have been more than me!). I have a hugely fat 6mth DS and a blonde 3yr old DD who's a bit manic!

I was driving through Stonehouse the other day - DH works at Attwoolls (ski and snowsports equipment buyer) and I'd gone to pick his car up cause he's got air con and I was boiling DS in my car. Stonehouse nice place too. I don't live at U-S-L, but on St Leonards Park, the opposite side of the Painswick Rd (still nice though).

My DS is pretty big and my DD is blonde and manic - are you sure your not me??

Ha, bit of a smaller gap between mine I think. DD only just turned 3 and DS just about to be 6mth. What is it with boy babies, are they all great big chubby bruisers!

I believe they are. DS is twice the size DD was at that age. My brother used to be so fat he was called weeble (as in weebles wabble but they dont fall down) for yrs (great big 6ft 4 policeman now, so we don't call him weeble anymore!)

Pat, what time do you plan on getting there? I might be earlier too. I can't stay too long as DH and I have to be at an auction in Ledbury late afternoon.

I'll be the frazzled one with 3 DC's, DS is 4.5, DD1 is 3.25 and DD2 is 9mths! Similar gap to Pat's but with an older one too.

LOL at 3's harder than 2's, wait til they get to 4's!

Swiss-my DC's have lunch about 1pm so will get there just before then if you want to meet earlier. Anyone know how much it is these days? I am skint so will have to go cap in hand to DH for a handout

Back to work on monday to remedy the skintness, only part-time but all the same!
What, the 4's are bad too! Eeek, when DOES it get good!
