Hi, i'm Beccy and have just moved back to Nth Lincs with my partner and 7 month old dd Georgia-Mae! Just wondered if there were any mummies on here in the area! I am in desperate need of human conversation..my dalmatian and cats are not much use...lol! I have not yet passed my driving test and live in a farmhouse in a lovely location (just off the A15/M180), but there are no bus routes...better get driving quick eh! But i'd love to meet other mummies, so they can pop in for a coffee or natter and so Georgie can socialise a bit more too! Take care, Becs xx

Hi Ladies,

I really enjoyed the chat too (was very funny)although my typing was appaling as i had been sitting in the dark with a nice bottle of wine!

Mark (dp) is working nights again next week, so i look forward to chatting to you all on Weds!

Okay i'm off to check out the lincs mum page!

Dp is just leading someone to the nearest petrol station as his merc is out of diesel bless! He saw our farmhouse from the main road and thought we may be a working farm and have some diesel on site! So drove down the private road to us! Good job our nearest neighbour who lives in the woods din't bump into him down the lane..he would not of been a happy chappie! So shhhh?! Dp had just got back from the shop and dd was still fast asleep in the car..bless! So i've got about 20 mins to myself..yay!

Hi all........another member joined today...found 5 more linc's mums on bounty...diff thread to the one you posted on becs, so have invited them to join too!

Ref: meet up Lynn Griffen (griffsbabe) has contaced debenhams in Lincoln to see if they would corden off & reserve the baby/toddler area for us...........just waiting to hear back from the manager, as we were wondering if we did all manage to get together at the same time there would be 15/16 mummies & approx 20 lo's .........& god knows how many buggies/prams/tandems etc etc etc. Anyway hopefully we should have some news by wed's chat.

Haven't read through the whole thread, as I'm supposed to be working - sad I know at this time of night!

I live in Grantham, Lincs, and would love to meet other mum's in same area - I've been up here for around 2 years (moved up from South), but as I work from home, I don't really get chance to meet others ( or attend the local toddler groups - they're all during working hours!).

BTW, Lydia Lemon, you'll know who I am now!

If you hadn't read far enough down you will not know that we have our own msn group for Lincolnshire mums..........so far we have 20 members from all parts of Lincs, 2 from Grantham !so if you fancy chatting with us then go here :- join here
Most of the mums posting here have already joined, we also have mums from the babycentre & bounty sites.
oh btw I'm Linnie mum to 2 girlies age 2 & 8wks

Welcome TeriS! I am Beccy and mummy to Georgia-Mae 8 months and have a step dd who's 10! And i live in Nth Lincs, (nr Scunthorpe). Hope to see you around on the Lincs Mums group pages too!

I registered for LincsMums a couple of days ago, but haven't been able to get on to the chat section - it always comes up Network Unavailable! Am I doing something wrong?!!

Also, do you have set 'chat nights'. I'm new to this, so not sure how it all works .
