Hi, i'm Beccy and have just moved back to Nth Lincs with my partner and 7 month old dd Georgia-Mae! Just wondered if there were any mummies on here in the area! I am in desperate need of human conversation..my dalmatian and cats are not much use...lol! I have not yet passed my driving test and live in a farmhouse in a lovely location (just off the A15/M180), but there are no bus routes...better get driving quick eh! But i'd love to meet other mummies, so they can pop in for a coffee or natter and so Georgie can socialise a bit more too! Take care, Becs xx

Hi all, I have set up our own msn group page, where we can post messages, photos etc and find out a bit more about each other! That way we can see who we are meeting.........
It is a private board so noone other than members can see our stuff & you will have to request to join.

just include your mumsnet username...so I know who you are.
Then lets get chatting & sharing photo's of our little ones

alibo · 27/08/2004 15:48

Hi again folks, went to the Gamekeeper few weeks ago-food not so good. However, a new Brewsters has opened right opposite-also has a play area. {smile]Not been there yet, but food may be nicer??? BTW great idea about our own msn page!

linniewith2 · 27/08/2004 15:52

Also thought there is rand farm just outside Lincoln, with adventure play area, toddler area, Resteraunt for us..........& lots of stuff 2 keep the kiddies amused, just another idea?

Shiraz · 27/08/2004 16:18

Linnie they both sound like great ideas..i also know there is a family pub in Saxilby with an indoor playbarn and outside play area..called The Woodcocks! Also my friend in Lincoln says she will send me a few ideas!.....

Hope you are all ok! Step dd is here this week so i'm pretty busy as dp is also off work! We are going to pizza hut for tea (mmmmm yum yum)..pmsl!

I'll join up to the group but anyone know how i can change the name that appears for me on MSN Groups?? It's given me LovedElepant1..hmmmm!

Hi all , Our Lincolnshire Mums msn group is all finished............I have added some extras such as a member profile page, our girls page with photos, our boys page with photos, the mums page with photos, a birthdays page for us and lo's, a meet up suggestions board plus theres the usual, message board, photo albums and instant chat.........so get signed in.
join up now
also found another linc's mum on the babycentre site that want's to meet up.
At the moment its a private board where no one else can view our stuff and you have to request to join........but I did think about adding it to the list of groups......people can then see our stuff but arn't able to join unless aproved, we might get a few more mums wanting to meet that way.
Anyway let me know what you think!
Cheers and I hope you all join so we can see who were talking to.

Gingerbear · 28/08/2004 01:37

hi linniewith2, I have just asked to join your group on msn

poppyseed · 28/08/2004 09:09

Used to live in Lincoln and I amoriginally from Cleethorpes area. I can vouch for the food at The Pride of Lincoln or the Swanholme Tavern on the Doddington Road. The Pride of Lincoln is right opposite the farm/garden centre thing that has loads of animals - can't think of its name right now but when it comes to me I'll post!!

Shiraz · 28/08/2004 16:39

Hi all,

Hope you are all well! I've added some piccies of me and the family onto the group pages!

Shiraz · 31/08/2004 11:21

Awww thanks Linnie, everyones piccies are cute though!...I've so many that i can never find the ones i need though! Need to get them in some sort of order!

We took step dd and dd to Doncaster Dome swimming yesterday, with MIL and her new partner..(he's another story..pmsl) Georgie was petrified, we calmed her down and then some idiots (in their 20's) were having a mad splash and she was right in the middle, i was soooo angry don't think they'll be doing that in a hurry again! Poor little sweetheart was sobbing so dp and i ended up taking her out to sit and watch! Bless her! Step dd is a eal water baby and would stay in there forever if she could! Hope you all had a great bank holiday!

Take care,

Becs xx
