Now where shall we go? As i recall from past meets Kingston was most accessible by all for public transport. Shall we try this again? Or I would be happy to do Richmond or Twickenham? But, I think Twickers is a pain to get to for the Ealingites.

How about Itallian?

(Mrs. Big cheeckbones if you come type here, please try not to kill it)

MrsBigD · 06/11/2006 16:10

10-14 doesn't really need a lunch break, even I can go without food that long LOL

Paddlechick666 · 06/11/2006 17:17

yeah i am sorry but don't want to pass on the plague!

dd is pretty much over it, i'm shattered after a day of SAHM/WAHM combined!

slowly eating again but was SO looking forward to our Thai tonight, not to mention the company.

think will be in bed soon after dd again tonight!

Uwila · 06/11/2006 17:21

It just means you have to come on Friday.

harktheheraldfoxessing · 06/11/2006 18:51

Hi - I had a consultant's appointment at Queen Charlottes this arvo, but marched out after being kept waiting 40 minues (I had to collect DS and DD). Stroppy woman or wot??

harktheheraldfoxessing · 06/11/2006 18:52

Yeah, you have to come Friday PC

MrsBojangles · 06/11/2006 22:47

ah how I remember the waiting sessions at QC I used it as a breather session LOL but could be pretty annoying if you get there in plenty of time and they're running over 1h late...

Uwila · 07/11/2006 06:58

Really? I never had to wait like that. I remember the waiting room, and taking a number for blood work. But, it was never hours.

MrsBojangles · 07/11/2006 07:02

on here early aren't you

Paddlechick666 · 07/11/2006 07:22

there's more from SJ with more details about Junior.

Bringing tears to my eyes reading it this morning. Am hoping and hoping sooo hard for her.

Ah, back to the darling site of my little angel happily covering herself in wheatabix whilst ramming a weaning spoon WAY TOO FAR down her throat............

Oh the joys!

ps: explain please: why does dd sleep like the dead at 6am on a work day and is wide awake at 5:45am on my day off and weekends?

Uwila · 07/11/2006 08:12

BEcause she wants you to remember who is in charge (i.e. her not you)

Uwilalalalalala · 07/11/2006 08:46

My new festive name... is it too early for Christmas names?

harktheheraldfoxessing · 07/11/2006 08:48

LOL mine do that too, I can't awaken them during the week (they hide under their duvets and complain like lazy teenagers) then on Saturday they wake me up at 6.30am - all bright and raring to go!

PC - fancy giving me a two sentence summary of where Sue is at? I can't view her website from work as I can't turn the volume down on my PC, so her music blares out; making it obvious I'm skiving .

Has she met her LO yet? Has she seen lots of sad little children in there?

harktheheraldfoxessing · 07/11/2006 08:48

No its not; LaLa

Paddlechick666 · 07/11/2006 09:06

YES IT BLOODY!

Bah HUMBUG!

good point about who's in charge tho.........

erm yep, basically SJ's LO is in isolation as he's running a high temp and a sniffy nose.

he screamed blue murder for her first hour - apparently all normal and healthy to show stranger suspicion.

gradually he's warming up and has moved on from screaming to sitting beside (but not looking) to holding eye contact and accepting feeding etc.

by day 5 she's been allowed to put him down for his nap.

having learned some russian and practising on the babyhome carers she thinks she's managed to progress more quickly. always pays to try and speak the language.

things still not 100% until 15 days after court decision so...........

there's only a couple of other kids in isolation but yes it would seem SJ's maternal instincts (that she professes not to have!) are well and truly coming out.

HTH, didn't even know there was music as I keep my lappytoppy turned down most of the time.

Paddlechick666 · 07/11/2006 09:08

ps: it's not skiving to be on MN, it's the equivilant of the screen break you're supposed to have every 20 mins when working on a pc.

ps: I COMMAND YOU ALL TO RETURN TO YOUR PRE-XMAS NAMES!

MrsBojangles · 07/11/2006 09:12

foxie how come you can't turn the volume down. Have they tied down your desktop that much???

harktheheraldfoxessing · 07/11/2006 09:39

No they've given me this flashy new screen which appears to have no Knobs on !!!

I calculate that the smokers take 5-10 minutes an hour, so that's what I'm allowed on MN

Anyway it keeps me in a pleasant mood all day

pudding77 · 07/11/2006 09:55

Foxie - in the bottom right hand corner of your screen, where the clock is, do you have a little speaker? If so you can mute the sound there.

harktheheraldfoxessing · 07/11/2006 10:34

Thanks Christmas Pud

pudding77 · 07/11/2006 14:47

Hmmm, not sure if I'm going to be xmaspud - seems a bit too obvious! I'll have to have a think...

Uwilalalalalala · 07/11/2006 16:15

So fizziwhizzipaddlechick, are you coming on Friday or what? I know where you live so if you say no I'm going to come over and drag you out. And if you know who is there I'm going to give a big kick up the back side on your behalf... just for fun, you know.

harktheheraldfoxessing · 07/11/2006 20:11

Plum Pud?

Uwilalalalalala · 08/11/2006 14:03

oi, Fizipaddlechicky... are you ignoring me??
