Next meet up, Tuesday 4th September.
During the day, either Botanic Gardens in Durham or the Slug and Fiddle near the Gala Theatre in Durham City centre.

Now for some random chat.
DS sang a song about bolognaise today. And DD walked some more. But still prefers crawling and using my nipples as handholds on Mount Starbuck.

Lurking, come on leggy, what can you be doing that's more important than updating us?

spiffysquiffyspiggy · 08/02/2013 09:11

Grin SPB. Today I shall mainly be pressing f5.

CremeEggThief · 08/02/2013 10:07

Any news on Leggy yet? How exciting!

KaraStarbuckThrace · 08/02/2013 11:10

C'mon Leggy, enquiring minds need to know!!!!

Juney! Yey there you are, have missed you!

Em - don't worry you can make the next one!

I am thinking about doing a meet up in Teesside if anyone is interested, I think there is a few Teessiders here. How do people feel about that? There is a nice little soft play walking distance from my house, there is a café there as well.

The silence suggests there may be another leggy blonde in the world! How exciting, I get excited for the name announcements, best bit, you all are very good at naming children!

FrozenNorthPole · 08/02/2013 11:48

Marking place < stalks >

spiffysquiffyspiggy · 08/02/2013 11:57

how long was her last labour? We might be waiting a while!

Indith · 08/02/2013 12:01

(not really)

SPBInDisguise · 08/02/2013 14:04

Maybe we should pop round? Sure she won't mind

spiffysquiffyspiggy · 08/02/2013 14:12

dares ya Grin

Indith · 08/02/2013 14:12

Oh good idea. I'll just get dd's swimsuit, the pools pretty big and dd will only have a tantrum if I don't let her in.

SPBInDisguise · 08/02/2013 14:18

So you didn't mind me peering through your letterbox when you were having a then Indith? :o
Leggy, if you're lurking and in a hormonal rage (justifiably!) I'd just like to get it on record that I haven't got a clue where you live and I didn't spy on Indith after her Dh glued the letterbox shut

Indith · 08/02/2013 14:21

Well I'm not sure that my front room curtains were entirely shut so any early dog walkers may well have had an eye full! Although if they did then I'd have heard about it I'm sure at coffee morning so I think I was safe Grin.

SPBInDisguise · 08/02/2013 14:28

:o

spiffysquiffyspiggy · 08/02/2013 14:31

When I had H I was being propelled out of the front door nekked but for a dressing gown slung over my sholdours when I decided that I really wasn't going a bundle on that plan and insisted on diverting to the playroom. Thank goodness I did or her place of birth would have been listed as the garden path.

Indith · 08/02/2013 14:35

I love ds2's passport, the others just have "Durham" as their place of birth so could have been born in hospital or anywhere but ds2's has our village :). Makes me Grin whenever I see it.

"Garden Path" would have been very unique. Playroom probably the best bet though.

spiffysquiffyspiggy · 08/02/2013 14:44

The old house belonged to DH's grandparents before we bought it and the playroom was a bedroom. So DD was born in the room that her hreat grandparents died in. People tend to be a bit Hmm when I tell them but I think it is quite nice in a circle of life sort of way. I may be strange though

Indith · 08/02/2013 15:04

That's pretty cool.

I have just been compiling an e-mail for dh comparing the risks of vasectomy for him vs the risks of long term hormonal contraceptives for me [evil].

spiffysquiffyspiggy · 08/02/2013 15:18

what about the risks of long term hormonal contraception for him and the kids? As in they would have to live with an evil screaming hormonal monster from hell you while you are on it?

LeggyBlondeNE · 08/02/2013 15:31

Baby arrived 9.30am, 9lb, second stage all of two very strong contractions. Definitely delayed things by going to bed last night rather than staying up, but it meant T was off at nursery when things got really going.

Sorry for the delay, ladies! ;-)

Indith · 08/02/2013 15:32

Hurrah!

Congratulations!

Excellent timing :) And sleep is always helpful!
