I'll buy a shot of something for anyone who gets 'The Fear'

After going to the Nobdie meet-up (where everyone was lovely), I did seriously consider the MN spring meet-up. But then on looking at the calendar, dicovered dh is away for the weekend, so need to be around to look after ds.

Maybe another time....

Stop the scaremongering Chaos

That's a real shame Norman Sad

Thanks, Val, but you maybe wouldn't say that if you had actually met me/SoMuch!

I was photographed in a somewhat compromising position at the Nobdie meet-up (in someone's cleavage! Blush) and SoMuch probably drank one or two more glasses of wine than was advisable.

Am surprised the Nobdies are still talking to us, frankly!

Valpollicella · 26/04/2011 23:09

Honestly, if you were friends with me on FB you'd see many questionable drunky pics of me...I withhold judgement Grin

Well, maybe we'll try to get to another meet-up later in the year. Would be nice to meet you all.

In the meantime must press on with Playmo Royal Wedding plans....

methodsandmaterials · 26/04/2011 23:13

We'll hold you to that norms!

NormanTheForeman · 26/04/2011 23:19

Awwww, methods, thanks, we would love to meet up again! But Somuch's dh is away for weekend of Spring meet-up.

Did really enjoy Nobdie one though, and thanks to you and Magna for organising. We do feel slightly more confident now though about venturing into a "whole MN" meet-up. Just maybe.....

Valpollicella · 26/04/2011 23:21

Methods will vouch for me

NormanTheForeman · 26/04/2011 23:25

That's great, Val, any friend of a Nobdie is a friend of ours.....

Grin, methods.

Btw SoMuch's sister (who came to stay over Easter, and is a plant biologist) loved your username!

FellatioNels0n · 27/04/2011 07:31

A Playmo royal wedding? Do we get photos? How exciting! Grin

Valpollicella · 27/04/2011 20:16

Evening bump now all the urchins are in bed and you're all enjoying a Wine (or whatever)

OP posts:
NotShortImFunSized · 27/04/2011 20:18

Val, got any spare Wine going, I need it.

bigTillyMint · 27/04/2011 20:20

Urchins in bed? I wish. The footy is on.

Valpollicella · 27/04/2011 20:33

NotShort, pass your glass and you shall receive...you ok?

BigTilly, Grin What time is that due to finish?

OP posts:
bigTillyMint · 27/04/2011 21:29

Luckily they cleared off at the end of the first half so I can now MN in peaceSmile

Valpollicella · 27/04/2011 22:08

See lurkers, you know you want to come along Grin I'm nice. I gove Wine to people

OP posts:
methodsandmaterials · 27/04/2011 22:39

She is nice.
I am nice.
We are all nice.
So come dammit.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 27/04/2011 22:57

She says she's nice.

But I'm worried about the party trick.

NotShortImFunSized · 27/04/2011 23:03

Wine glass passed!

I'm ok, now. Was having one of those afternoons, kids did nothing but try to actually inflict as much damage on each other as possible, scream, whine and moan at the top of their voices.

Then put them to bed thinking peace at last, but noooooo they had other ideas. Ds3(2y) got up and came downstairs 4 times so I had to take him back up which woke dd2(17m) up who then decided to scream for half an hour every time I even attempted to leave the bedroom.

They are asleep now [cgrin] Normal service has been resumed.

I am nice too.

FellatioNels0n · 28/04/2011 11:47

Pag definitely wants to come, she just won't admit it. I know she does because she has mentioned TWICE on two different threads now, that she has told her husband all about it and who is going to be there....

You can't deny it Pag. You want us, you know you do. Grin
