Cash sent.

I'm officially coming.

Valpollicella · 17/08/2010 23:32

Well I'm pretty sure the men would all band together and ignore us for for the rest of the night while we talk about mooncups ands stuff (that's what happens? Right? Not sure, not been to one before Wink Grin)

roundthebend4 · 18/08/2010 07:35

If you bring partner chances are your talk to them rather than mix not anti men Or anti women covers both options
as there's fair few dads that post and yep they should be able to come

Im scared stiff of coming don't know any of you as such but in for a penny in for a double of what ever anyone else is having

domeafavour · 18/08/2010 10:11

I'd love to come, I have no friends to bring, and I don't know anyone on MN, but I am good fun!
Will someone talk to me?!!!!!

nickelbabe · 18/08/2010 10:25

okay, looks like consensus is no DHs!
Grin

I might have another friend who would come.
It's not that I don't want to be in the venue by myself, because I'm good at socializing, it's just i'm a bit worried about travelling on the train back from London late at night (can't afford to stay over)

nickelbabe · 18/08/2010 10:26

can we do twos or threes that are coming from the same area? seeker lives near me, but she doesn't want to come! (her DD is trying to persuade her, though!)

anyone coming up from Sittingbourne or en route?

I'm coming from east Herts to Liverpool street ,be. On the Cambridge or the stanstead express line .will probably come up lunch tine mid afternoon .

Not worried about getting round London do fair bit gadfing about there more nervours about walking in on my own

TrillianAstra · 18/08/2010 11:50

OK, I'm in. :)

BuzzingNoise · 18/08/2010 15:51

would it be ok to pp at the end of the month?

Kbear · 18/08/2010 19:42

I say no DH's! I'm sure me and Maureen would be happy to meet any nervous nellies beforehand so you don't have to walk in on your own. We come into London Bridge/Cannon Street. Last year we met some Mners at the Castle pub next to Farringdon tube and walked up the road en masse!

Top tip - don't drink too much too early ... ask the girl who slept through it!! Mentioning no names.... Cornsilk LOL

TrillianAstra · 18/08/2010 20:08

I don't really see why a DH would want to go along to a pub where his DW will be meeting peopel she talks to on the internet, getting drunk and talking about injokes.

I'm voting for name badges of MN names!

roundthebend4 · 19/08/2010 07:06

Kbear im up fpr walking in least wont feel so alone that or if staying in same hotel as some

Gigantaur · 19/08/2010 11:08

Yes I think the Castle pub is the meeting place for quite a few of the early arrivals every year.
though yes, Cornsilk was alesson to us all Grin

ok so no OH's but DADS on MN are more than welcome.....im sure there are a few of you lurking. we'd love to meet you all.

the spreadsheet of names is growing which is fantastic.

Payments are welcome asap but there is no rush for those who need to wait until payday or until they have made childcare arrangements etc.

don't feel you can't come just becuse you can't pay just yet

Gigantaur · 19/08/2010 13:37

flossie64 · 19/08/2010 14:10

I would love to come , but I don't have paypal. How can I sort it?

Katyathegringa · 19/08/2010 14:19

I'll be paying tomorrow, sorry for the delay - car cost us a fortune this month so a little borassic.

Considering nobody has taken me up on the offer of a sofa bed for the night (I feel mortally wounded by the way ), I am contemplating joining you all at the hotel as well.

Gigantaur · 20/08/2010 18:08

flossie if you email me at [email protected] i will reply with either bank details to transfer funds into or an address you can post a cheque/po.

Katya - no worries. Payments when you can. There is plenty of time
