it will be held at the Hat and Tun PUB

on 27th November 7:30 - about 1am.

Food is supplied by way of platters of various delicious buffet delights.

Someone has emailed me asking whether it would be ok for her DH to come along too.

Now there is no precident for this so i said i would ask everyone else. IF it is ok with you all then that is fine.

Tell them they only need to check MN to see that that statement is true.

Gigi - I'm not sure about DH's coming, I'm not personally bothered about it.

However, this could make it feel more of a coupley thing instead of an MN get together if several other posters follow suit.

I can understand that it could make more people come as they can bring their dh/dp along as a security blanket, but I'm still not sure it would work.

Weirdly, I'm happy for any MNing men to come along, but don't like the idea of partners. For me all the enjoyment last year was that even though we didn't know each other, we all had this one big thing in common. If everyone brings along non-MN partners/friends, then it's just a big gathering of strangers, half of whom have nothing in common at all with anyone else. IYSWIM......

I've never been to one despite years of being here. I might come to a MN hoorah before I leave ol Blighty for good.
