Hi I am doing keto
I am a yoyoer but that has to stop
Every year I’ve lost and gained 40-70 lbs and now it’s effected my body as I lose weight slowly
Alone in 2016 I lose 4 & /2 stone regained
2017 I lost 3 stone regained

This year I’ve lost and regained the same stone 2 times

I do go back to keto I yoyo as life is hard and I need to work with my head more

So I’m looking for any keto buddies ?

I had 60 lbs to lose I’ve lost 9 lbs in 9 days but that’s mainly water on keto

Anyone need a buddy ?

I'm two weeks in and 10lb down. I presume that water.
I was taking tablets to get to sleep, I'm not cured but I've stopped taking them and can sleep.
My massive rock hard stomach has deflated somewhat...

I've just made a quorn Bolognese but am astounded at the amount if carbs in the passata! Anybody got a tip on reducing carbs or do I just accept this dish might be a no no?

Down a pound this week. Week 3 so im glad im still losing. I tend to lose focus by week 3.
Milky - i tend to go for cream sauces with this- maybe flavour with a sun-dried tomato if i really want tomato sauce

Can I join? I'm 11st3, keen to get down to about 9st10 before my wedding in January.

Been doing this for a week now and not only have I lost no weight I am eating tonnes. So I'm not sure how it's going to work out.

Can I join. Just finishing day one and have made the choice to stop drinking diet coke as well. Pleased I've managed a whole day but think I'm over complicating it. Is it possible to eat too much fat on Keto? Feels like I am... Good luck everyone! I've got 5 stone to lose and mental health reasons as well.

We're on day three of the diet doctor two week plan here and I'm feeling pretty good. It's hard to get my head round cooking with and eating so much butter and fat though but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Have already noticed less bloating on my tummy too.

I have been in the keto world since last August! Did it solidly until December which is when I met my ex and so was wining and dining too hard. Have been going back and forth this year and actually reached my goal weight!

I've put a few pounds on top of that that I want to shift & also feel some of the good keto effects like increased concentration & less appetite

It really has changed my life and I have lost some 30 pounds all up! Without much exercise besides occasional yoga and yes, slip ups! So if I can do it I know anyone can Bear

We had a sneaky weigh in in the middle of the week and I had lost three pounds. Got to the 'official' weigh in this morning and I'd put back on one of those pounds 🤯😖. Could be because of the couple glasses of red wine I treated myself to over the weekend but DH also had a drink or two and lost 7 pounds!!!!!
Am going to keep going with week two of the challenge and see what happens next week.

Do your measurements as well . The scales don’t tell the full story with keto.

Have a look on Diet dr for recipes .

I really cook most stuff in one pan broccoli cheese made with double cream and cheese and bacon or chicken .

Hi everyone. I’ve been Ketoing since the beginning of June.
I’ve lost 11lbs and lots of inches.
I have also had alcohol every weekend and had 2 holidays in this time and pretty much kept the weight off.
I love this woe.
No more cravings and constant snacking.

I do buy Smart water to help with electrolytes and have started having ACV in my water everyday day. Not sure why but I had some already so I’m drinking some every day.

I’m enjoying cooking again and have made some fab meals.
Butter chicken (diet doctor website) is one of my favourites.
There’s a good fb Page that always has lots of recipes on that I joined.

Thanks Starlight345 I haven't managed to get hold of a tape measure yet (apart from a metal one which I don't think would work properly) but will keep trying. I do think I can see a bit of a difference on my tummy/hips so will definitely keep it up. All the recipes I've tried have been delicious!! DH seems to like them too.

Rocky - until I bought myself a new tape measure and of course then promptly found my old one Hmm I used a piece of string which I then measured against my metal tape measure Smile

A faff but at least I could measure my progress!

You need to drink a lot of water. A ketogenic diet is very heavy on your kidneys, which is why you should also keep salt to a minimum.

Drinking water isn't a problem for me I drink loads anyway but will try and up it a bit more

Hi everyone I'm on day 6 today, I've lost 6.8lbs so far. After my official weigh in on Saturday I'm going to take the scales to my parents house for the week, it's too tempting to get on everyday!

I have a goal of 40lbs to lose so this is a good start. I've got 4 clear weeks, including this one, in which I have no events to go to or anything that should sabotage things so hoping for 1-1.5st off in that time, then I should be fitting in my clothes properly again and feeling better so I don't mind if it slows down.

I'm managing 3 litres of water a day and some short walks. I plan to increase exercise however my lower back is sore at the moment.

I've just had 100g Aldi Greek yoghurt and 30g almonds for lunch along with a black coffee!

Look forward to hearing everyone's progress Smile

Hi I have been doing low carb for 4 weeks. Only 4lb down but it was a start. Then last week I felt really ill. I ended up eating sugary food to make me feel better and now I'm 4lb up Confused. Will get back on it tomorrow but thought I would join this thread to give me some motivation.

Count me in! I went low card last year and lost 21lbs then out it all back in again while travelling. I feel realky awful and very bloated so I know it’s the gluten & the sugar cravings are crazy. I just need to stick to this!!
