I know midweek and a weird date to start but kids to back to school today (back to some semblance of routine and no more cupcakes for lunch)
Plus 7 is my lucky number Grin
Unfortunately also unlucky in that I have 7 stones to lose. Bang on 7 to the pound.
Dammit.
Let's go!!!

Ugh I had an enormous slip up today. Am trying to forget about it and move on. Onwards and upwards for tomorrow!

newname I do love the sound of it and would definitely look into moving on to paleo / primal once I've lost some of my excess weight.

Dont let a slip up get to you Stevie. I have loads but I just move on. I have lost nearly 2 stone so far.

SteviebunsBottrittrundle · 12/09/2016 19:20

Thanks newname!

Today has been much better. I woke up feeling quite motivated despite the slip up yesterday.

Meals were:

Breakfast: boiled eggs and coffee with cream

Lunch: tuna mayo, a tomato and some cheese

Dinner: a pork chop and some low carb butternut squash soup

Hope everyone else has had nice days Smile.

What does every one do on a Sunday may I ask? I found it so hard Saturday to not cook a big roast like I normally would!

I think roasts can be quite low-carb friendly really, though I can't really try to say that having just had a massive fuck up on Sunday (and it involved a roast dinner)!

I used to just have the meat, green veg, cauli cheese and gravy. What would you normally have in place of meat mermaid? If that's low carb then you could have it with green beg and low carb cauli cheese maybe?

So far, today has been find carb-wise though meals are a bit odd again!

Breakfast was: prawns fried in coconut oil and garlic dipped in mayonnaise

Lunch: I have some leftover butternut squash soup on the stove as we speak

Dinner: planning to have grilled halloumi salad and / or something cauliflower based

Snack: maybe strawberries with Greek yoghurt and cream or some cheese

I've noticed I'm not as hungry as usual. Think this is a good sign!

Hope everyone else is having a nice day Smile.

Hi everyone! Hope all was good this weekend, I relaxed the food a bit on Sunday, but have still lost weight. Think I'm in the high 12 st's now. Still am just grazing with a large main meal in the afternoon... I really need to find more snacks that are carb free, just can't bear bits of meat, etc...

SteviebunsBottrittrundle · 14/09/2016 19:09

Evening!

All going ok for me, in that I've been eating low carb since Sunday's slip up.

I don't know if I've actually lost any weight though as I'm trying not to weigh myself till the weekend if I can resist! Also my scales are pants, so can't really rely on them for small losses / gains. Might as well not bother.

Trying to remember to drink more water as well. I tend to forget to drink during the day and then am thirsty in the evening!

SteviebunsBottrittrundle · 15/09/2016 10:35

So I had a cheeky look on the (rubbish) scales this morning and I've lost about 2lbs (3 if I am being generous). I'm happy enough with that tbh, as I did have a really bad day on Sunday.

I feel so much better since starting. I definitely feel lighter and more energetic, so I'm pretty pleased with how it's going. I'm still feeling quite motivated so am trying to keep up that momentum.

Meal plan for today is:

Breakfast: BPC

Lunch: I was going to have roast chicken and halloumi again but actually think I'll try and just have celery sticks and cream cheese so I don't have to buy anything else for dinner!

Dinner: roast chicken, avocado and halloumi - roast tomatoes and pasta for DH and DD

I am off for a swim now and will buy a giant bottle of water on the way.

Hope everyone is having nice days and is ready for the weekend Smile!
