Is prosecco ok??? I've just found a lovely cheap prosecco. I'm not a wine person but I do like a glass or few, when celebrating things. Life can be bloody hard so any excause to celebrate....outcomes the proseccoGrin this evening I'll be celebrating FRIDAY and making it to the end of the week not throttling anyoneGrin

Are there some must-read low carb threads with ideas and tips? Want to get ahead with the reading and start cutting back on carbs a bit before boot camp starts.

Does anyone know why I'd feel nauseous when I cut out carbs completely? Is this because I'm so strongly addicted to carbs/sugar? If I cave and eat carbs the nausea quickly disappears.

I AM REALLY SCARED BUT REALLY WANT TO DO THIS!
I dipped my toe into this last year and lost 20kg but couldn't keep it up as was bf and my milk dropped too much. I'm also terrible at getting bored easily, but I'm totally convinced that lCHF is the best way for me to eat.
Will you ladies help me?!? I've 15kg of baby weight still to lose....

Really looking forward to getting started again. I’ve been a bit half hearted since the last boot camp I did - sort of low carbing for a couple of weeks and then collapsing for a few weeks and then starting again. It’s going to be great to have support.

I think I might try it without weighing myself this time. I can get very hung up on the numbers. Has anyone else done a non-weighing approach? How does it work

Non-weighing could be a good strategy, especially if you're getting obsessed by it.

A couple of alternatives - first, before you start, take your measurements - bust/upper arm/waist/hips/thighs, and re-measure every week or fortnight.

Or, find an item of clothing or an outfit which is currently (a bit) too tight, and keep trying it on - again, once a week or fortnight. That will give you a very tangible way of assessing results.

I'm in but won't go on the spreadsheet as I travel for work and rarely near scales on a Monday/Tues. Will take measurements and advance photos though and post progress photos. I was so inspired by photos on the last bootcamp.
I really enjoy low carb eating and lost 11lb lurking on bootcamp in the 2017 pre-Christmas bootcamp (seems like yesterday! How scary). Have kept most off, but relaxed too much over the summer.
Suprisingly, I found the food part fairly easy, but drinking enough water was a huge challenge.
Starting off at around 11.5st and hoping to lose 1st by Christmas.
I'm impatiently waiting for celeriac to arrive in stores. I've missed it.
