New Year, New Start Boot Camp - Sign up thread

Wee thread for people wanting to start/do another Boot Camp in the New Year.

It will be starting formally on 8 January with pre-Boot Camp preparatory thread the week before.

In light of BIWI's sabbatical, a few of us have volunteered to run it in her place. She has lent us her Big Stick Xmas Grin to wield as appropriate. I will be starting the Boot Camp off and doing the first couple of weeks and am hoping that others will then step forward to take over from Week 3.

SayrraT has kindly said that she would set up a new Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for it Xmas Smile - so sign up here to say you want to be on it. I have put a few names down that I know are wanting to do the new Boot Camp, just to get the list started. Copy and paste to add your name at the bottom.

I've proven the value of Boot Camp by having made multiple batches to divvy up for gifts and have resisted having any myself Xmas Shock can't quite believe it myself Xmas Wink

Did bootcamp before the summer, it was really helpful- time for another big push now, I WILL reach a healthy weight! And find how to balance weight, food, lifestyle into a routine that works for me and my family! Grin Xmas Grin Grin Thank you for running this.

Wow there are a lot of us raring to go. I have had a couple of days off of my now normal bootcamp light diet. Although I enjoyed croissants, the odd crisp and cracker, I know that I can happily drop them again as they just aren't that nice.

I would like to join please. I have just been forced onto the scales for ski hire and I am 92kgs. I am actually in shock and feel like a headless chicken researching gym memberships and diet plans! Jan 8th is a perfect starting date for me and I will read some old threads in preparation.

I'm in - I both want and need to lose at least 27kgs before I buy my wedding dress in a years time. My mum is coming out to visit us in September and I'd love to be able to meet her at the airport in size 12 clothes (currently a size 16/18). Mum has just turned 78 and I know she worries about my weight.

I also, at some point want to be able to change the scales to show st/lbs rather than kgs - I don't really understand kgs so it's just a number to me, and I know if I change the scales over now I'll end up in a massive depression.

I'm a bootcamp virgin but I'll give it a go :)

Starting formally on the 8th JumpingintoLCHF - but I'll post up an introductory thread on Monday with the Rules, so that people - particularly newbies - can get prepared and have the right things in the fridge/cupboards and get rid of some of the wrong things Xmas Wink and also they can ask questions to prepare.
