I am a LP with a little 2 yr old DS. It's great we just do our thing like dance naked in our towels in living room last night after our bath.
Mine are similar to many of the above along with being back on MN without the "what a lot of shite" comment from DexP
No smell of stinky feet (that really used to make me boak)
No waiting on him rocking in from a night out waking me up, the smell of stale cigs and drink being breathed on me, waking up to a room that smelt foul (that used to make me boak as well in fact thinking about it there are tons of his habits i hated)
No nagging, picking up after him, having to work round his needs/wants. Amazes me he went where he wanted when he wanted, for me to plan a trip to supermarket alone i would have to ask him to have DS.
DS actually gets to see more of his dad this way and I get some me time (never heard of before). I can even get to go to the loo alone, its the small things.
Watching him eat with his mouth open (gross).
Not having to look at DexP's mum who's face was generally like a cats arse when looking at me not having to listen to "is toddler not potty trained yet? really? such and such is" or "don't you think so and so (other member of family) can talk better than your toddler?" I wish you couldn't speak now shut up came to mind often.
Oh so many i could add why was i actually with this man? Really.
