What do you miss men for....

What I don't miss them for

• Not for putting up shelves - I can do that and other mini DIY jobs (flat pack furniture assembly excluded)
• Not for living together - the mess is unbelieveable when you give one house room
• Not for paying the bills

I miss them for helping me put on my jewellery (make the darn clasps bigger please) and occasionally at the end of a v bad day, providing a big bear hug and a chilled bottle of wine

It's not the practical things that I miss. I've never needed a man to do the physical stuff like change a plug, change a tyre, put up shelves, open jars, catch spiders etc, etc. (He was never much good at any of those anyway!)
It's the bit that's missing at the end of the day when you're in desperate need of a hug and for someone to tell you everything's going to be ok, and looking into their eyes and knowing that it is. It's the emotional closeness.

I could do with one right now for making sure I got all those frickin nits out of my head

Rickman - what is it about the hair?? My ex was the same and all of our problems would have disappeared if I grew my hair and lost weight (I'm kinda like Fern Britton with Judy Dench hair).

ive never had any of that so i wouldn't miss them, ive got a man but he never really does anything apart from play his computer of watch tv or play some sport with other poeple.

so if i didn't have him theres not much id miss apart from getting spiders and reaching high things maybe.
