Group meet up! Take 2...

Shall we have another go at a group meet up? :)

The weather appears to have improved for now so we could organise another park based outing for those of use with lively dc. :)

My parents live in Chilwell so not far from Bardills too. I'm dreading it when I start back at work as my journey will be a nightmare.

I travel into Nottingham every day from where you are. I'd use the bus as they can use the bus lanes. Driving is terrible!! It should get a lot better when the tram is complete, they really need to sort the prices out though as it's unfair that it costs the same to go a few stops as it does to go from the start of the network to the other.

Hi, any consensus on date for the next meet-up?

I can't do the 11th or the 12th July so how's the week after? I don't think the 4th will be enough time.

How about the 17th? Or 24th?

Wednesdays are good. Thursdays are music group. Looking forward to making it this time

17th? I'll have ds with me though as he breaks up on the 12th. Little children seem to like to chase him around.

I keep forgetting to comment on the local board but I'd love to come to a meet up. Is it looking like Wednesday 17th then? We do sensory but could do the afternoon - what time were you thinking? x

I can do 17th in the morning but have a work thing in the afternoon.

We usually start early, at 10 am, so just after the school run and before nap time. Sound OK?

That's OK, we're going to have one a month. Maybe a day at the park over the summer as the older children won't really want to hang out with us.

We'll be there as well, DD doesn't break up till 22nd July (has to go in just for the Monday!

I'm sure DS will enjoy chasing your son around though Sybil! . We went to Ikea the other day and first it was 'play with trains?' then 'see Sybil?' (Well your real name!) Guess you were a hit!

When are you thinking for the next Ikea one?

Aww, your ds is lovely. Ds breaks up at lunch time. It was a nightmare when we used to commute as I'd come home for an hour then go back to collect him.

I haven't heard from Ikea at all. I'll give them a nudge.

I can't do the 17th of July as I've registered with a New Parents Class that starts on that morning.

I can't make it on 17th - it's just too hectic to get in to town and back again and do lunch etc before ds starts preschool at 12.30.
However he breaks up on Friday and starts school inseptember so I should be able to make the next one. :)
