So sorry I have been awol. Am back to it after 4 weeks off two ops and a nasty infection. Who would have kids hey!!

DP has been a star and DS is fab. Already for big school now - just need to sew his names in.

I'm mum to 4 dc's. Have wandered over here after wasting many years on another parenting site. I live in Gosport have done for years. I work part time and am married. Currently laptop free after ds dropped my net book but am just about finding my way around on my phone. I'm 29 and I'm sure the rest will come out at some point lol

So how are you finding the holidays ? I'm looking forward to a long weekend with dh. But today I am so unmotivated. I cant seem to Muster the will power to do anything. Might go make some scones with the dc's?

Summer holidays going well thanks. I am working right through but we have found lot's to do for free and they seem to be passing quickly. I have had up to 8 mindees on top but they all seem happy.

Wow 8 mindees you are very keen lol. My 4 have been enough of a handful. Mind you we have found plenty of free things as well and the beaches in Gosport are nice. Plus we have been to the woods in wickham which is a great day out a d only £3 to park for the day. I've just booked a last minute camping weekend next weekend before they go back to school. At nodes point on the isle of Wight it was only £67 for a long weekend and dh has Monday off and there is a teacher training day Monday. So we are going out in style lol.

Is there a meet this week? I have Friday free if someone is about? Although last few days before school starts. Where has the past 5 years gone!

Although have got DP to agree I can have a new car now we no longer have any child care costs. So that is exciting :-)

Lucky to no longer need childcare. We still have breakfast clubs and after school some days.

I work Fridays but i always have Monday's and Tuesday's off. I'm currently chilling. Thinking about bathing the children and getting them settled for the night. Our bedtime routine seems to have gone out the window.

I went to see Harry potter this morning o can't believe I haven't got around to it till now. Lol an then we headed too lee on Solent for an ice cream and a stroll. But the park was packed solid with it being a bank hol.

trying to organise a meet up seems very hard this year, but if you wanted I will just post where we are this week and those who want to can come and find us. I am easy to spot for those who don't know me I am normally the harassed looking woman surrounded by kids in orange hi-viz vests with a phone number on the back. We don't easily blend in with the background

I've just spent a fun filled morning at the minor injuries unit as dd decided to try and do a 360 spin whilst standing on a football. Anyway luckily no breaks just a teeny greenstick stress fracture that doesn't need a cast just a splint.

Trying to muster the enthusiasm to tidy up a bit and maybe head out this afternoon. But may just opt for a DVD and some popcorn.

It would be great if you posted what you are up too we may not stalk you just yet but ideas of things to do are always welcome.

I love the blue bird something rocks about pink and White ice cream mix lol although they have probably contributed to my size lmao.

I've spent the day round my mums tearing my hair out as the children seem to demolish her bungalow in about 3 seconds flat. But it was nice in a stressed out way. Have just been a lazy and am feeding the kids pasta and cheese.

Okay so today's plans are to take children to Portsea Adventure Playground which is by the hard in Portsmouth if anybody wants to join us it is halfway down Queen street opposite the big tall tower block Sarah Robinson house behind the John Pounds Centre will aim to get there for 1pm.

Sounds good much more fun than my day. I'm gutting the children's rooms and making sure everything is ready for school Tuesday because we won't be back till late Monday night. I'm going to have to head over to sports direct later for pe shoes I miss the whiteley store. I think I'll go to waterlooville so I can avoid the madness that is gunwarf. But I can't go until the washing machine has been looked at so I'm hoping they come early. I'm already cross that it broke before it was a month old !

I miss Whiteley too - work just down the road & used Clintons on many 'oops it's so&so's birthday tomorrow' panics!
Also liked the ladies shoe shops... But then I like all shoe shops...

No mummynic I am an LSA . I am doing OU degree to train as teacher and should be writing an assignment right now!. It's special school that may give you a clue! RU a deputy head then? My closest friend is a teacher. If you are a DH and work in school near Whitely then you may know my mum.
