Evening all - Hello coffeeisking - I am in Eastleigh too :-)

Well the secret was I had finally convinced Dp to TTC - things have progressed and it appears that we are up ther duff!!! - we will wait and see oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!!!!

Ds is back to normal and spot are 'melting' according to him. Back to pre school tomorrow after 3 weeks off - all those bank holidays.

We did not get our first choice of school so will now be looking for new child care :-(

Otherwise all is well in the world of Eve

davidtennantsmistress · 05/05/2011 20:44

yay congratualtions eve, see knew you were joining the club. :) am now 24 weeks, but already thinking how soon we can try for no 3. Blush lol.

Hi Eve and David.

Eve - where abouts in Eastleigh are you? congratulations on pregancy also sorry to see you didnt get first choice school, ive just been through admissions with both of mine. it was a very long wait wasnt it? I had heard a few people in the centre of town didnt get any of there choices!

LesbianMummy1 · 06/05/2011 11:42

hi coffeeisking welcome
eve and dtm congratulations will we have some mn local babies Smile

eve34 · 07/05/2011 09:35

Morning all :-)

Coffee - we are in boyatt wood - how about you? How old are your DC? Sounds like we were lucky to get our second choice - in reflection with Pg second choice school is closer so will work out.

DavidT - planning your 3rd are you mad it has taken me 5 years to get my head around a second and I am still not sure :-)

Promised Ds we would going swimming this morning deep joy me in a swim suit. DP has gone to the army navy rugby so day of peace today and hangover tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great weekend :-)

Coffeeisking · 07/05/2011 10:33

Eve - my 2 are 7 and 4, i am also in boyatt wood! but kids go to school in bishopstoke. i think the school there doesnt have many applications from out of catchment and my 7yo is already there so i was very lucky. you can still put ds name on the waiting list for your first choice, it wont effect his offer at 2nd choice.

eve34 · 07/05/2011 16:33

Coffee - did you not like the local schools? We are on the waiting list for our first choice - crescent so will wait and see what happens.

So you will have both at School in Sept - what will you do with your self??

Swimming pool was cold but we had a good time now just about to do some e baying :-)

Coffeeisking · 07/05/2011 16:46

Eve - Crescent was my 2nd choice. We were living in bishopstoke when Ds started school and so much was going on in our life when we moved that school was the only certainty he had so kept him there. and all our friends are in bishopstoke we would like to move back there. I went to shakespeare juniors. i know the infants is really good.

I cant wait until september. after 7 years of being a stay at home mum ive had enought now Grin looking forward to getting out to work.

eve34 · 07/05/2011 18:55

Bishopstoke is a lovely area and I expect it is a lovely school. Sure DS will be fine at Shakespeare just means a change in child care which I could do without really.

Good luck with going back to work I am sure you will enjoy it, I work part time, I am very lucky it suits me well. Not sure I would cope at home full time.

heliumballoons · 11/05/2011 19:02

Hello everyone. (I've namechanged ages ago) but I'm sure you know who I am. Grin

Sorry I've not been around its been a busy few months.

Finished my maths module and have started my next module for uni - assignment due next week so will probably disappear again!! (for a bit!)

I then had an infected tooth which is going to need extensive (and painful) treatment to try and save it - which may end up as an extraction. Sad

DS has had appointment with cons pead - we were given epi-pens and although he had some lots of hives when the nice weather started he is now on AH daily and seems ok - although he keeps losing his voice. Smile

He also cracked his chin open which required a trip to A&E and steri strips and glue - he won't be climbing on the kitchen work top again!

He has also had fecael impaction and I have had some concerns for a while about how hard he finds going to the loo - so he has medication to take for 6 months at first but maybe up to a year.

So between all that I have not had so much time for MN.

DS got into the junior school I requested. Its our catchment and on the same site as his infants so that was a bit of good news. Grin

exciteddotcom · 24/05/2011 14:28

Hi Gang,

Can I join your lovely throng? I'm due in September with baby no 1, living in sunny Southsea. Looking to meet local mummies for chats/ advice/ coffee/ cake etc.

How are you all?

xx
