Cadbury's drinking chocolate

Earlybird · 09/11/2007 19:18

My US friends always ask for Beecham's Hot Lemon sachets. They say it's the best remedy for colds/sore throats.

SpacePuppy · 09/11/2007 19:21

my brother always asked for the calpol and calprufen sachets for his children, oh and apparently everybody in US wants cadbury's.

Earlybird · 09/11/2007 19:23

If children are involved, send chocoate buttons too.

PG Tips? I think that's another sought after item.

morningpaper · 09/11/2007 19:27

Mince pies from M&S if you are using express shipping. M&S chocolates & tea. Flakes. Yes, I always bring back Beechams powders. A nice magazine?

LIZS · 09/11/2007 19:28

Re. toothpaste, I don't buy any here in the US that doesn't say where it's made - which is most brands. Currently using Aquafresh but I will also probably start bringing toothpaste back soon.

chocchipcookie · 09/11/2007 19:31

Oh yes, in terms of Christmas we can't easily get:

Christmas pud
Christmas cake
Mince pies
Yule log
Christmas crackers, etc

Also, Hot cross buns!

GreatGooglyMoogly · 09/11/2007 19:58

Or, as others have said, advent calendars

lapsedrunner · 09/11/2007 20:01

Smoked Cod or Haddock
Real sausages
Real bacon
Chicken Bisto Granules
Daily Telegraph (OK can get it on-line and buy it one day later but not the same IYSWIM)
A few glossy magazines.

lapsedrunner · 09/11/2007 20:02

...and Advent Calenders without Milka chocolate

midnightexpress · 09/11/2007 20:03

Can you send Christmas crackers? I seem to remember they were on the terror list for flights anyway, weren't they?

I would like to see someone trying to wreak terror with a Christmas cracker.

lapsedrunner · 09/11/2007 20:03

Have to confess have privilaged route to PG Tips, Christmas Pus, Mince Pies & crackers etc

lokka · 09/11/2007 20:03
