I posted a while back cos I had a mmc at 12 weeks, after that I was anemic and have not felt well since around Aug at first I thought it was due to my body getting back to normal then I was convinced it was anxiety but after having palpitations, swollen glands, tingling and pins and needles in left arm and leg, ear ache and sore throat since September and a odd feeling something just isn't right. I went to the Dr's expecting them to say it was a virus but she signed me off work for two weeks cos I am exhausted took loads of bloods and said if they come back clear then they may need to do further investigations and the two weeks off will allow me to have further tests.

I have a ds who is a young 5 and am now terrified that I am ill and he won't have a mummy I know I am getting ahead of myself but I just have a feeling it is going to be bad news and advice how to handle the wait ?????

Hi lozwil. Hooe.you are ok. I was.going to post to say dont assume lymphoma is.the end of the world. I had Hodgkins years ago and am fine. However I see your bloods are normal so fingers crossed it is something like an infection. Best of luck with your appointment tomorrow.

Ok so Gp due to call this morning, I have been up 3 hours with back ache and pain in my leg so feeling sorry for myself, I wish I could go back a year I was really healthy and happy. My dh is so worried I feel awful I hate upsetting everyone and feeling rubbish all the time. I don't care was wrong with me I just want to know so I can start getting better aarrrhhh Sad

Bloods are now back to normal, so still no idea why I feel awful but the GP bless her isn't giving up she thinks back pain may either be caused by gallstones(as this can also cause a sore shoulder) or a digestion problem so I am having a scan at gp's at some point this week or early next and a referral to the relevant place. She isn't worried about swollen glands too much thinks they are just a reaction to whatever else is going on so the saga continues along with another 2 weeks of work they are really going to love me after having a month off in the summer too

Poor you. Has a thyroid problem been ruled out? Likely yes if you've had loads of bloods. I felt rubbish before diagnosed with underactive thyroid.

lozwil · 12/01/2016 16:17

It has, it has been checked a few times, I have never been ill before this I'm only 33 and it's scary, I am off to see a cardiologist in a couple of weeks too its a nightmare not helped by the fact I am panicking and probably making it worse by doing so

I'm back 😀

How frustrating for you lozzy!! If you can just get through the next few weeks in sure that you'll be fine. Things often run away in our minds don't they?

lozwil · 12/01/2016 19:14

They do my dh is trying to be really calm but I am normally the calm one so he is finding it hard, I keep going from it will b fine to tears. Trying to avoid Google as much as possible along with the Daily Mail.

Do you garden? My husband went through this two years ago. His older brother died of lymphoma so he was terrified. It turned out to be toxoplasmosis. Most of us wouldn't even notice we had it (excluding during pregnancy) but he must have been low, his glands were swollen for weeks and he felt rotten.

Funnily enough he also had a frozen shoulder at the time though I am sure there was no connection.

I had wondered whether it was glandular fever but they said he'd had it when he was much younger. He doesn't remember!

lozwil · 13/01/2016 21:04

Hi, Another no I don't garden I wish I did but I hadn't thought of that my ds has a thing for playing in the mud so it could be possible. I don't think my immune system is great this time last year I ended up with scarlet fever someone in ds school had it thankfully no one else got it apart from me.

I hope his shoulder is ok I know frozen shoulder is awful x.x.x

Another scan tomorrow this one on my abdomen only have to drink 1.5 pints of water and then get on a bus the irony is that I should have been having a 36 week growth scan for the baby this week going to be a long day

Scan done all clear so Gp refered me to gastroenterology for further tests, it is never ending but al least they are taking it seriously just shattered with it all.
