A local coffee shop i go to regularly has a customer who is a dad (not single dad as i previously thought) with a daughter with SEN. On different occasions she has taken food from other peoples tables, Smashed cups and the latest Picked up a bucket of water which had been used to clean the floor and threw it everywhere including over a table. Barista told me she saw the girl eyeing up the mop and bucket but "i wasnt quick enough" Surely it was her father who wasnt quick enough. Its dangerous. What if the water had gone into the electrics. The staff here are lovely. Is there away of navigating this or do they just have to continue to deal with it.

The cafe can bar them. They wouldn't be barring them because of her disability, but because of the risk involved due to a lack of supervision by her carer. If she visited with another carer who supervised her sufficiently so she didn't present a risk to herself or others, that wouldn't be an issue.

It's dangerous. For staff. For customers. For the little girl. I'd speak to the manager if nothing changes I'd vote with my feet as I am sure the rest of the customers will too.
