I assume you mean in numbers rather than total girth?

sorkycake · 20/12/2008 13:08

Juuule surely, she has 9

goldFAQinsenceandmyrrh · 20/12/2008 13:08

I think it's Juule

juuule · 20/12/2008 13:12

I've got 9 but someone posted on here a while ago who was due her 10th. Don't know if she's still around.

tinselwrappedBodyBag · 20/12/2008 13:15

tinselwrappedBodyBag · 20/12/2008 13:25

OP posts:
juuule · 20/12/2008 13:40

If I can cope, anyone can cope.

Can I cope? debatable at times.
Course I can

ComeWhineWithMe · 20/12/2008 13:47

Didn't someone have their tenth on here a few months back ?

Earlybird · 20/12/2008 14:05

Gosh juule - you are brave! What's the age range? And, if you don't mind my being nosy, did you give birth to all or are some step children?

juuule · 20/12/2008 14:13

Brave?

Age range 5y - 21y
And yes I gave birth to each one.
Greedy aren't I?

JustKeepSingingCarols · 20/12/2008 14:18

Can i be nosy too juule and ask - did the births get easier each time?
or at least tending towards easier?

and how did you cope with the tiredness of pg when the eldest few were still little?

And (last one!) what are your age gaps?

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 20/12/2008 14:32

Juule - I guess you have to cope don't you - it's that or be run down by the horde

I have such admiration for you - I've only got a third of your numbers and sometimes it feels like 100% too many!

juuule · 20/12/2008 14:34

Oh Gosh.

Okay - after a horrid first birth all the others were easier.
After my 3rd delivery (great) I realised that most of my problems in labour were caused by being in hospital so would labour at home and wait for transition before going in. Much better and birth was usually quick once I'd arrived at hospital so all over and done with. Generally speaking yes the labours got easier with the real painful stuff shorter. A bit more to it than that but that's the gist.

"and how did you cope with the tiredness of pg when the eldest few were still little?"
Quite a while ago now but I seem to remember just muddling through best I could. Early nights when I could. That sort of thing. Fortunately I never had morning sickness (bit of nausea here and there but nothing really) but did get headaches.

And (last one!) what are your age gaps?
2y9m, 16m, 15m, 2y5m, 20m, 17m, 23m, 3y4m.

juuule · 20/12/2008 14:35

"it's that or be run down by the horde "

lol - that's about right

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 20/12/2008 14:36

which is your favourite........................................................................................... ............................................age gap

If you don't mind me asking?

JustKeepSingingCarols · 20/12/2008 14:37

Wow, thanks Juule, have wondered about these things since seeing you had 9 ages ago and i'm so nosy so thanks!

JustKeepSingingCarols · 20/12/2008 14:38

And i'm sure i saw a poster 'rosie' something with lots? think she was on a due in...feb 08 thread?

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 20/12/2008 14:38

Oh and I'm fascinated to see you din't get morning sickness. I did - very badly and constant nausea when not throwing up - for the majority of the pregnancies. It is a major factor in my decision not to have any more actually - I tolerated it for the lovely three I have but I couldn't do it again.

JustKeepSingingCarols · 20/12/2008 14:41

Had a quick look, was rosequartz and she was only expecting her 7th in feb...lol!

I didn't get ms either thank goodness, but did find myself totally wiped out in the early months of ds2's pg.
Luckily ds1 was still napping then so i could still sleep during the day.
I'm not aiming for 9 btw, 4 was my original target, but after an em c-s with no. 2, i'm waiting to see what labour no.3 brings...

juuule · 20/12/2008 14:42

I don't think I have a favourite.
With having several m/c too I was just glad to have a baby in my arms.
I suppose if pushed I might say I preferred the closer gaps as then they were mostly at the same stage of development with lots in common.
Tbh I'm not really sure.

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 20/12/2008 14:44

That's interesting though - i've heard lots of people say the same about closer gaps which to me sound like a nightmare - but then I have nearly three years and over six - so i would think that wouldn't I?

juuule · 20/12/2008 14:44

"are you done?"

Yes
