DD1 started primary school in 2006 and DS2 will leave in 2019. 13 years without a break!

2012 will be lovely though as all 4 DCs will at school together - Reception and Years 3, 5 & 6.

It'll be 13 years by the time we're finished. Which is peanuts compared to some of you!

GentleOtter · 31/07/2008 21:41

I had never given it any thought Bythesea till now but ds2 will be leaving school around 2025!
40 years of sports days and the Christmas concerts consecutively

alysonpeaches · 01/08/2008 19:39

Dont assume youve finished with your own children. I will be doing primary school with my grandchildren for 11 consecutive years.

Loshad · 01/08/2008 23:03

my oldest started in Sept 1998, youngest will leave primary in july 2012, so a relatively short stretch for me

cupsoftea · 10/08/2008 10:20

cikecaka · 11/08/2008 22:06

10 years with only 2 children! Silly big age gap though

gastronaught · 12/08/2008 00:49

dd started in 1999, ds will in 2010 so 11 years for me.

Rossco · 19/08/2008 11:40

Let me think...eldest started in 2000..youngest will move up to secondary in 2018.

Oh my that is a long time lol!

jade1978 · 19/08/2008 22:50

My eldest started reception in 2004, and my youngest (so far) will finish primary school in 2018 the year I turn 40, so 14 years so far

loudmouthmum · 21/08/2008 02:56

Eldest stepchild started school nursery in '99, (helped with school runs), my youngest will leave primary in 2015, soo, 16 years altogether (IF we don't have any kids together, which we are planning to in the future, I'm only 27!) that's between 3 kids, 2 stepkids, and it helps that one of his is in the same school year as one of mine!! OMG! 16 years, and I will still only be 34!!

Idobelieveinfairies · 28/08/2008 11:47

Oldest daughter started in 1997, youngest twins will be leavng primary in....2015.

So that makes 18 years dosne't it.?!

However this year is the first year hat i have had children in KS2 only...ks1 starts again next year.

piximon · 31/08/2008 22:06

I was sitting here thinking what a great thread, till I sat down and tried to work mine out.

My eldest started earlier this year and youngest due to finish primary in 2019. When youngest starts (Jan 2013 if they still run two intakes) I'll have all 5 at the school for 7mths. for the school, but for me.

NotAnOtter · 31/08/2008 22:08

magnolia74 · 03/09/2008 10:30

magnolia74 · 03/09/2008 10:30

loudmouthmum · 05/09/2008 22:18

UPDATE!! with the splodges (14 weeks gone with twins, found out last week) by the time they will leave primary in 2020, I will have done 21 years of NON-STOP school runs. UURRGGHH!!. I'll be 39 by then.

MarsLady · 05/09/2008 22:21

loudmouth come join us on the d'y ever threads (or the antenatal anyone expecting twins thread) where we will scare the living daylights out of you encourage you!

By the times the DTs leave primary school I'll have done 18 years (or is it 19). I think that the school will then collapse into rubble at my departure much like the Tower of London will when the ravens leave.
