I have just received a panicked phone call off my sister-in-law, she is pregnant with triplets and already has 9 DC aged,14,12,10,8,7,4,3,15 mths and 4 mths! She is distraught at the prospect of having three more especially given how close in age the youngest 2 children are. To add to this her husband is delighted! He loves children and wanted more even though they agreed to stop at 9. Does anyone know of or have such a large family (I have a big family but not nearly as big as this) or know of anyone, I just would like to reassure her that it can work.

I can't get over the thought of having 9 children, a brand new baby and having the energy to be shagging again. I admire her stamina.

Wow zippy I really admire you! I have told my sister-in-law about you, I think it made her feel that all hope is not lost, but she said she will definitely not be making it to 14!
Have you always wanted a big family? Do you have a 'goal' number of children to reach?

My SIL has 3 girls and 6 boys so she's hoping the triplets will be girls to balance the numbers! I looked at you're profile and see that you have 6 of each, that's very lucky!

Thanks for the offer of the emails. I have sent a message to you with my SIL's email address she says she looks forward to speaking with you, but only do it if you have time, I'm sure you are busy enough!

wow......people think Im crazy with No 7 on the way....
I have 5 boys & my 2nd girl due in 6-8 weeks....
really want to up the girlie numbers...but already feeling the strain...I get no help, and have no family of my own to help out...
DH is self employed...so cant afford hired help...
Am thinking I should persuade DH to move to ireland....where it seems acceptable to have big families...and could even be affordable :D Hmm
London is def. NOT the place to rear large families !!!! where 2 seems the magic number for most !!
