Any transfer buddies this week?

I’m due to have my FET on Wednesday. Anyone else having their transfer this week and we can buddy up in this thread?

@LuxeBiscuit Welcome! I totally get it. I've had four failed transfers within the last year and it's really hard to believe it could work. Are your embryos from the same batch?

@Pommybear I feel absolutely nothing as well... Did you have any symptoms on your successful round? I can't remember exactly but I generally didn't have many symptoms throughout my pregnancy.

I think i had sore boobs then and some period like cramping on my successful round but it was a long time ago so hard to remember. I did have a hard pregnancy though, i had every bad side effect going.

I think i will test on wednesday. Thats what I’ve decided

I still haven't decided whether to test on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Was planning Friday but will have some friends coming so not ideal if I am a wreck.

Thanks and you too! I had the ovitrelle trigger this time so I’ve been testing it out. I think I’ll just continue to test.

Ah sorry to hear that you’ve had the same. It’s hard to stay positive.

I was really lucky to get 8 embryos from one round so they’ve been the same batch. What about yours?

That's great that you have some left! Fingers crossed you won't have to use them all!

I got six on my first round and one out of six was successful. They were untested. I did another egg collection this summer and got 4 embryos, but only 1 euploid.

Oh my embryos are untested. If this cycle isn’t successful then I may get them tested. But that would mean having to thaw, test and refreeze which could have an impact on quality I think.

@LuxeBiscuit Yes, I think there are pros and cons either way.

it’s so hard with they symptoms or lack of isn’t it but I think there doesn’t always seem to be a correlation between symptoms and a positive test!

I’ve woken up not feeling great today and feel like I’ve got a cold coming on as my chest is all clogged up. Not how I wanted to feel going into my transfer!

@Frisbeee So sorry you are stressed, hope you wake up feeling much better tomorrow! I've been having sore throat and runny nose the past too days and it's making me depressed too.

@Pommybear Same here. Feel totally normal. Halloween was fun yesterday so I managed to distract myself a little. Hope you had a good time too.

@Azahar8Sorry you’re not feeling well either, winter germs are definitely here! I had tonsillitis for my previous egg collection and fresh transfer which was unsuccessful so I just really wanted to feel 100% this time but never mind!

Struggling a bit tonight, just worried he hasnt worked and nervous to test this week and how il feel if its negative

@Frisbeee Sorry this is happening to you again! Hopefully your clinic can reassure you tomorrow. I asked my consultant about this previously and she said mild illness shouldn't affect anything.

@Pommybear Sending you hugs, lovely! The TWW is soul destroying. Not long to go until Wednesday - either way having clarity is much better than this state of ambiguity. Have you decided what you'd do next if this doesn't work?

Not really feeling any better but it is what it is! At least I have the day off work and my toddlers in nursery so I can have a chilled day!

how are you all? Has everyone resisted the urge to test??

I am planning to test on Thursday but the thought of it is giving me a panic attack.

I might test tomorrow, I don’t know. I’ve been having some lower back sciatic type pain today but thats normal enough for me. No other twinges or anything.

in terms of what’s next for me- im not sure, I really don’t know if i can go through another round or not, its causing me a lot of stress and i have many other things I could put my money towards

@Pommybear I had lower back pain quite early in my pregnancy so hopefully it's a good sign for you!

Thanks @Azahar8! All went well, both embryos thawed and transferred ok. It’s such a weird feeling after isn’t it knowing they might or might not be implanting!

forgot to say my pregnancy blood test isn’t until 16th November which seems so far away!!
