I’m due to have my FET on Wednesday. Anyone else having their transfer this week and we can buddy up in this thread?

Hi @Pommybear, my FET is on Wednesday too! Is it your first one?

This is my second. Is it your first? How are you feeling about it all x

It's my seventh... I got 6 embryos on my first egg collection and had a child on the second round. The remaining 4 embryos didn't take. Had another egg collection this summer and only one euploid. I feel very detached from it all after four failed transfers in the last year. But hoping that it's a fresh start as it's not the same batch. How are you feeling?

Pommybear · 25/10/2026 22:33

Well I will keep my fingers crossed for you, what age are you if you don’t mind me asking? I’m 37, only got 2 embryos so this is my last transfer really.
how many embryos did you collect this round and did you test them all? I’m curious about pgta testing, I may consider it if I have another cycle. How quickly after your egg collection were they able to test and then transfer? Must have been a while if you had collection in the summer?

Thank you, I keep my fingers crossed for you too! I'm 36. Got 4 embryos - all looked good quality but only one euploid. Two are mosaic - technically could transfer after genetic counselling. One returned no result but it's a day 6, so not much hope there either. This might be my last transfer too as we can't afford another egg collection. Pgt-a is worth it though. Results came back 10 days after the egg collection, but then my cycle took almost 50 days and I had an endometrial biopsy on my next cycle to rule our endometritis so that's why it's taken so long.

So do they let the embryos get to day 5 and then test then all no matter the grades on that day and then freeze the same day? Sorry I’m new to this! What grade is the one you are transferring? Mine is a 4BB so not too quality but I’m staying hopeful

They let them develop until day 5 or 6 and biopsy the ones that are good enough. My day 6 didn't return a result because it didn't have many outer cells and the biopsy they took was not sufficient to produce a result. They didn't want to risk damaging the embryo but they've frozen it. I will be transferring a 5AB this week. 4BB is very good! Though I think grades don't mean much looking at my pgt-a report.

Azahar8 · 26/10/2026 12:26

The results then take up to 2 weeks after biopsy.

I'm glad all went well! Was thinking of you. Mine was very smooth too. I won't test until 6-7 November so that I don't lose the will to do my injections! My official test date is 8 November. How are you feeling?

My ritual is to have soup to feel warm inside😀Do you have any plans on how you are going to distract yourself in the next week?

Ah, sounds nice, enjoy! I couldn't focus on work today but I also have plans with my little one over the weekend and looking forward to that. Trying to stay neutral rather than feeling negative or positive. But slightly more deflated than yesterday. Usually gets progressively worse as time goes on!

I’ve bene very up and down, time is going quite slow. Have you felt anything? I’ve a bit of heartburn but that would be usual for me

Hi ladies, can I join please? Due to have my first FET on Monday, 2 x day 3 embryos.

how is everyone feeling? x

Azahar8 · 30/10/2026 15:26

@Pommybear I had cramping after the transfer but it all stopped today. I've had negative cycles both with and without symptoms so there is no way to know, but it's hard to believe something is happening when I feel nothing. Time is going slowly and at the same time I will be so afraid to test when the time comes.

@Frisbeee Welcome! Good luck for your transfer! How are you feeling?

I just want to test now, Ive not told anyone about this cycle so its been hard not talking it through with friends.
its hard not to symptom watch, I did have a few twinges earlier but not sure if I was already having them with the progesterone or not

Thank you!! This is actually my 4th cycle but we’ve done fresh day 3 transfers on all previous cycles and have never had anything to freeze. Cycle 2 was successful and we have a wonderful son so this is (hopefully!) a sibling round!

the waiting is absolutely the hardest bit isn’t it!

when is everyone planning to test? I’m the worst serial tester!!

Azahar8 · 30/10/2026 16:31

So we are all doing a sibling round😊

When I did natural modified FET before I tested every day and it felt much better than waiting but now I don't want to test until at least 6 November because I don't want to lose the will to do my injections.

Frisbeee · 30/10/2026 21:10

Ahh that’s actually really nice that we’re all on sibling rounds!

keeping my fingers crossed for you both!

Hope you both have a lovely weekends and manage to keep busy!

Azahar8 · 30/10/2026 21:31

Same to you @Frisbeee! Let us know how your transfer goes on Monday.

LuxeBiscuit · 31/10/2026 08:59

Hi! Can I join as I’m also trying for a sibling. I had a FET on Thursday via a modified natural cycle. This is my third FET this year. The first two failed to implant so I’m trying to stay neutral.

fingers crossed for you all.

Pommybear · 31/10/2026 10:01

Hi ladies how is everyone feeling today? This is 3dp5dt for me and im feeling totally normal today, no aches or cramps or sore boobs, nothing, wish I was feeling more!
