Anyone else at or near this stage? I have no symptoms of any kind so already feeling like it hasn’t worked.

Hey @Nosejug and @SummerSolstice25 - how are you both feeling and getting on?

Morning @ThisSunnyMember :) today I’m testing out the correlation between tiredness and nausea haha. Yesterday I only felt queasy a couple of times and had had a good sleep, today I’ve slept terribly but have a gentle constant boke going on! My partner asked me what I wanted for dinner while eating breakfast and it was a bad moment!

This week was meant to be our first holiday abroad in years (a planned break between ivf cycles and work cycles) but for obvious reasons we decided to stay closer to home. So I’m in an absolutely beautiful (lodge? Contemporary cottage?) right on the edge of a loch near Pitlochry.

Ive had a couple of scary moments, a gush and some intermittent bleeding, but saw a heartbeat and no obvious cause for bleed so trying to keep hopeful. Embryo was a week smaller than its rough age, but it was an abdominal scan so pinning hopes on it being a bad scan type for accuracy.

how are you doing and feeling? Sorry if that felt like a full diary entry!

Oh my nausea comes in waves, as soon as I feel sick I think oh I must nearly be hungry and next thing my stomach rumbles! I’ve also been so so tired too!
Your break sounds lovely, hope you both have a lovely time. We have 2 weeks off from work from Thursday (when I also have my scan). Depending on what happens there we are planning to go abroad somewhere for 8-9 days, fingers crossed!

Scary moments aren’t good but glad you saw a heartbeat and have had reassurance from the scans, do you have any more scans planned?

On Friday night I had really bad stomach pains and I was convinced it was all over. I didn’t have any blood though and when I really thought about it, the pain was up high rather than down low, I’m hoping it was more indigestion but I will find out on Thursday, keeping everything crossed!

Oh sorry @ThisSunnyMember didnt see your message till today! I know what you mean about the hunger thing, I’ve had a few growls of hunger that were preceded by waves of nausea! I get so confused if I’m hungry or not. Also.. thinking of certain foods which I can’t bring myself to type give me very strong feelings of aversion. I’m loving anything fresh, particularly frozen blueberries heh. I’ve decided the sickness is basically like a low level “I’ve been reading in the car” travel sickness. Exciting that you have a holiday coming up! Where do you think you’ll go? And did you say your scan is tomorrow? Will be thinking of you of course. My next is next Thursday. Good luck tomorrow!

@ThisSunnyMember I’m doing well so far. No symptoms at all but I’m now choosing to look at that as being a blessing rather than a cause for anxiety! Hope your scan went well

My scan went really well and we saw the heartbeat flickering away which was reassuring, we’ve now been discharged from the clinic and I have my first midwife appointment is less than 2 weeks 😱
So we are now off on holiday! Off to the Middle East for some sunshine ☀️ how is your break going @Nosejug?
