Anyone else at or near this stage? I have no symptoms of any kind so already feeling like it hasn’t worked.

Please don’t give up yet, having no symptoms means absolutely nothing! I’m not at the same stage as you now, but I’ve been there twice. The first time I was symptom watching and in the end I was mistaking progesterone side effects as pregnancy, very disappointing 😔 The second time I didn’t think as much about it, I left it to the universe. What will be will be. I felt nothing different, then two days before the beta test I had diarrhea, back ache, bloating and cramps. Typical days before a period for me. I went to the beta convinced my period was coming and SURPRISE… I was pregnant! I was happily shocked. You just never know. Don’t lose hope yet 💕

ThisSunnyMember · 16/10/2025 08:06

@SummerSolstice25 me! I had my transfer on Monday. No symptoms for me either and I have just carried on with everything as normal, travelled up north the day after for work and worked a really long day and then went into London yesterday for work and ended up getting home pretty late. I’m now questioning whether I should have stayed at home, and whether I have ruined my chances 😐the waiting is not ideal!!

The only thing that is making me feel slightly better is that I read a few articles that say days 1-3 the embryo is still developing so you are unlikely to feel anything and that from day 3-4 onwards that is when it implants (if it does) so maybe we will start to feel something soon? Keeping everything crossed for us both!!

Nosejug · 16/10/2025 08:18

yep, just wanna say I’m currently 7dp5dt and have a faint positive, first yesterday. 0 symptoms. In fact, last (failed) cycle I had extremely sensitive breasts and all sorts of cramps and it was negative.

ThisSunnyMember · 16/10/2025 08:54

@Nosejug congratulations on the positive!

SummerSolstice25 · 16/10/2025 10:22

@ThisSunnyMember rest seems to be the last thing that’s recommended, sounds like you did the right thing just getting on with it. I was scrolling online and I saw so many people with all these symptoms from 2dpt and I thought well I’m out. I have sore boobs but I had them before the transfer from the progesterone anyway.
@Nosejug congratulations! Really no symptoms at all?

pastelheart · 16/10/2025 10:29

Just to give some hope, I had no out of the ordinary symptoms until I developed severe OHSS on 8dpt… that was a pretty big give away but up until that point, not much to report 🩷

Nosejug · 16/10/2025 10:41

@ThisSunnyMember thanks :) it’ll be my 3rd try at pregnancy but here’s hoping!

and yep @SummerSolstice25 all quiet on the western front! I had tested the day before 5dp5dt and it was negative and I thought that was that. I have been testing out my trigger hcg and when I got a positive the next day I only half believed it was true.

ThisSunnyMember · 16/10/2025 11:51

@SummerSolstice25 i think it’s so individual isn’t it as to how everyone’s feels and like you I am the worst at scrolling and reading online, even though my usual very rational brain knows this is not helpful at all! We must remain positive ☺️

@Nosejug oh, keeping everything crossed fo you! 3rd time lucky as they say ☺️

@pastelheart thank you, it is helpful to hear everyone’s experiences! I didn’t realise OHSS could be a symptom of being pregnant if I’m honest! I knew people had it during egg collection but not if pregnancy occurred!

pastelheart · 16/10/2025 18:35

@ThisSunnyMember yeah I didn’t have any signs of it after egg collection so had the go ahead for a fresh transfer, all was fine until 8dpt. HCG can stimulate the ovaries again and cause late stage OHSS, I went into the clinic thinking I was dying and all the nurses and doctors knew what was going on and I was oblivious lol. I ended up doing the test with all the nurses in the clinic bathroom!

it could have last until 12 weeks but luckily it calmed down within about 9 days and I am fine now 🙂

ThisSunnyMember · 16/10/2025 20:52

@pastelheart how interesting I had no idea but thank goodness it calmed down quickly! How far gone are you now?

pastelheart · 16/10/2025 21:06

@ThisSunnyMember I was so relieved it got better quickly as the thought of being that poorly until 12 weeks was worrying!

I am 7 weeks tomorrow 🩷

Nosejug · 17/10/2025 07:06

Funnily enough my right ovary was throbbing on and off last night, I have gotten twinges on it through ivf since my ectopic, but it was pronounced. It always gets sensitive right before period. I wonder if it’s being affected by a little hcg. I’m v unlikely to get ohss as I generally only can make 2-3 eggs per ovary (if lucky!).

maesyrysgol · 17/10/2025 07:11

Hey! I had our first FET with our only embryo on the 15th. Woken up today with a sore throat and a cold 😭. Feeling like this wait is going to be torture. Good luck to everyone else waiting 🤞🏻

SummerSolstice25 · 17/10/2025 07:20

@maesyrysgol i think cold symptoms are supposed to be a good sign after transfer 🤞

TheRealViewer · 17/10/2025 13:02

Hi! I had my first FET on 15th as well. I don’t plan on testing until 28th which is the date the clinic gave me but I’m going crazy already googling anything and everything that the doctors have ever said to me. My progesterone was 38 which they said was slightly lower than they wanted so have upped my pessaries. When I had my scan they also said I had a fold in the uterus but that it was fine, although online says it could affect implantation. Does anyone have any tips on trying to stay positive and away from constantly thinking about what could go wrong?

maesyrysgol · 18/10/2025 06:55

@TheRealVieweri don’t plan on testing until the 25th which will be 10 days. I don’t have any advice on how to stay calm but the way I’m thinking about it is I’d rather not know and think it could be positive than test early and be tapped out with a negative! Fingers crossed for positive results 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Nosejug · 18/10/2025 08:20

@TheRealViewer just to say, I’ve never had it before, but this cycle I was told I had a fold in the uterus too, they thought maybe polyp but someone else downgraded to a fold. They'd have postponed if it was a polyp but after rechecking said it was tiny and not something to worry about. And it has not affected implantation. If your clinic said not to worry then you don’t need to. Remember they want the best rates for themselves so if they were concerned they’d have postponed not for your own good but for theirs!

ThisSunnyMember · 18/10/2025 08:22

@pastelheart congrats, that’s so exciting!

@TheRealViewer I also won’t be testing until test day, I actually would do, but my partner wants to stick to what we have been told and we both want to be together when we test! In terms of staying positive, I don’t know if I have too much advice other than try to stay busy! I have found weekdays ok because I’m so busy at work my brain is occupied elsewhere. Not sure how this weekend is going to go though! Have you got any nice plans?

@maesyrysgol this is good advice! It’s positive until it’s not I guess!

SummerSolstice25 · 18/10/2025 11:12

I am likely going to test tomorrow. It’ll be 7dp5dt so I think it should be fairly reliable? Beta is Thursday but if it’s bad news I’d rather find out on my own than on a phone call with a nurse.

Best of luck @SummerSolstice25 ! Will keep everything crossed for you :)

maesyrysgol · 18/10/2025 12:59

@SummerSolstice25fingers crossed for a positive 🤞🏻

maesyrysgol · 19/10/2025 14:53

Hey, how’s everyone doing? Anyone getting any symptoms at this point? I’m 4dpt and got very slight stomach and lower back ache started this afternoon!

pastelheart · 20/10/2025 15:16

@ThisSunnyMember sorry I didn’t see your message! Thank you very much 🩷

I hope you all get your positives over the next few days, I will keep checking in! X

ThisSunnyMember · 25/10/2025 05:55

Hi all, how is everyone doing?
Has anyone tested yet or got any symptoms?
Yesterday was 10dpt for me and test day, I was abroad for work and got back home late last night, tested and it was positive 😱 woke up first thing this morning to do another and positive again, so now wide awake!!

pastelheart · 25/10/2025 06:49

@ThisSunnyMemberamazing news! Congratulations 🩷🩷 xx
