FET 5DT when did you get a positive?

Just had my transfer and I’ve always been an early tester, I just find it helps prepare me for what’s to come!
when is the earliest you got a positive if you tested early? And those who saw a negative when did it change from positive to negative?

Negative morning of 4dp5dt, evening of 4dp5dt total squinter. Day 5 more obvious but still more of a hint than anything. Day 6/7 faint line but a positive (even to the untrained eye!)

@Peonies94 no just the cheap one step ones from Amazon. I can be a bit of an over tester so would be bankrupt with FRER! I’ve always been an early tester too until my most recent round, first time I waited for otd. Pros and cons! I hope this is your round 🤞

Hi @Peonies94 I am due to have my fresh transfer tomorrow (assuming any of my fertilised eggs have made it to blastocyst!) It is my first go so I really am in two minds about whether to test early or not. It is such a difficult one isn't it? I am thinking I might try to wait until day 7. Sending lots of baby dust your way and I hope you have success ❤

I also need to send my prescription off 3 days before original test date, so will need to make a decision so early testing sf least helps that!

If you had an hcg trigger I would test it out, so test from early on until it is negative, so you know a positive is not from the trigger. I think some have it in their system longer than others. Good luck!!! I haven't had my transfer yet but I hate testing so so so much my plan is to wait until the bloodtest my clinic does.

Hi @Peonies94 we might be transfer twins? I transferred a day 5 4BA on the 18th so 4DP5DT today. Time is dragging and I’m spiralling a bit today as I’ve had cramps all morning. I know this can be from progesterone but can’t help worry it’s a bad sign. How are you doing?

@GabbyGal so the day after me! I’m testing negative so assuming it hasn’t worked! I’ve also had zero symptoms as well!

5DPT is still very early to test though, I wouldn’t count yourself out yet. I’m going to try to hold off from testing for a few days but I feel like I’ll drive myself crazy either way.

Thanks @Peonies94transfer went well, we transferred a 4AB and I’m now 2dp5dt. Feel ok so far, but I think my anxiety will kick in around day 5 when I know some start testing……I might do one on day 7maybe…….that will be a weekend so I can cry at home all day if it’s bfn 😭

@Firsttime2023 glad it went well! This is exactly how I felt, quite calm until 5dpt! I’m 6dpt today and still testing negative so think that’s me out :(

I think as soon as you know it “could” be bfp that’s it isn’t it your mind goes into overdrive. I figured if it’s negative at 7dp5dt I can prepare myself for the OTD while knowing there might still be a small possibility.
i have everything crossed that your test changes tomorrow. You never know, and some people don’t get a bfp until 9dp5dt 🤞🏼

@Firsttime2023 that’s exactly how my brain is!
I’ve basically read so much stuff and most people have either said 4,5,6 very few people have said 7! Then even smaller number said beyond 7 so I’m thinking if it’s still negative tomorrow then I can start to accept that ready for test day on Saturday 😔

@Peonies94its so so crap isn’t it. I just told my partner I want to test at the weekend instead of waiting until OTD and he doesn’t get it! It’s just about protecting myself, I can’t bear the thought of waiting a full 14 days just to see a negative.
is this your first transfer?

@Firsttime2023 yeah it’s my first! That’s exactly what it is,at least you’re not living a dream then for 14 days when you know the result will show up sooner than that! Going to test again in the morning but think I’ll be out!
