How is everyone doing? Sorry I've been quiet, I've been having a difficult time with my daily intramuscular injections, both my butt cheeks are completely purple with bruising and the knots are so tight and nurses can't even find a soft spot to inject me anymore. Have tried everything, heat packs, ice, massaging the area despite that also being very painful. Nothing is working, and I never imagined I would be in this much pain constantly. Sitting down, getting up, lying down to sleep, just walking nevermind up and down stairs has become so exhausting. Reminding myself its worth it gets me through the day, but just wish I was less miserable at a time like this.
Sorry for the rant, and I hope everyone else is having a better time.
@SunnyTiger Praying for your good news! I've been having night sweats and vivid dreams since 2 days ago, my doctor said it was my body getting use to the extra medication and hormone changes.
@waitingforourmiracle is your scan on Friday the one where you can see the embryo? I still haven't completely quick worked my head around these scans and how they relate to how far gone you are. My clinic does the first scan 2 weeks after positive hcg blood test, then 2 weeks after that is the heatbeat scan.
@Hopingtobe4 Yes, they definitely wouldn't have taken you off the pessaries if you bloodwork wasn't hitting the right figure, congratulations on getting off those waxy things, it will be so great to not have to plan your day around when you need to lie down for them :)
