Thought I'd start a thread for those who are in the 2WW!

I'm 3dp5dt, my first round of IVF! I had a freeze all round due to high risk of OHSS however only ended up with my 1 blast at day 5 so had my FET on Monday!

Anyone else going insane trying to symptom spot?? Not much from me so far, the odd slightest sharp feeling and yesterday felt as if my period was due but apart from that nothing much!!

Aw hope yous have good news on the 2nd,wee early birthday present.

Mine was Wednesday. Funny I was just saying to my partner I've no cramps this morning. Not long after the pessary though so probably kick in again soon.

My sister and her 2 children are coming over at 12 for a few hours so be a good distraction,just hope the nausea has lifted! You doing much this weekend? I'm trying to stay busy so I don't think about it lol

5dp5pt still no new symptoms :( Can I ask what medication everyone has been put on? I'm oestragen patches and progesterone injections alternate days and pessaries twice a day. Only "symptom" I've had is dry mouth and I'm drinking crazy amounts of water, I need to pee like 8-9 times in one day and I feel like I'm not over hydrated because pee is a normal colour...but I'm drinking over 3L water a day and starting to freak out I might have kidney issues or something...

@Lavendermarshmallows I'm on eostrogen (progynova tablets and patches) and progesterone (lubion injections, cyclogest pessaries and ultrogestan pessaries)

@Hopingtobe4 hoping so 🤞🏼 aw lovely that will be a nice distraction for sure! Chilled weekend for us, going round to friends tonight for food. Have you told family and friends? We told people about the collection but we've not told anyone at all about the transfer, we've said it's going to be mid-May so hopefully it will be a nice surprise if we get a positive!

@lemons44 im good thank you, cramps seemed to have stopped but think I can still feel something, I don't know what and I don't know if it's my head 😂 still got bit of a headache though! Also last night had no appetite but didn't feel 100% then this morning I've eaten so much and I usually don't eat anything in the morning! How are you? The main thing I've changed is no coffee and not alcohol, I only have 1 coffee a day anyway but just cut it out completely and drinking a lot more water

@Lavendermarshmallows I have seen so many posts about people not having any symptoms and getting a bfp so everything crossed!! I'm the same with needing the loo but also the same with drinking more, between 2.5-3L a day. Hope your feeling okay

@Lavendermarshmallows I'm taking 3 elleste solo tablets a day and 3 utrogestan pessarys a day x

I'm progesterone pessary morning and night up until day before test. At thr minute I have nothing else prescribed. It's such a long wait isn't it! I would love to test during the week but my partner is against it lol

We haven't told anyone,we would just rather deal either it ourselves until we have news to share- hopefully!

Night out of the house be lovely, we have jist decided on getting a take away to try have a wee treat night too

So... I tested early 🥹 I can't believe it, I've never even had a hint on a positive test in the last 2 and a half years and I've now got 2 lines showing on 2 tests. I know it's early days but oh my gosh I am sooooo happy 😭

Had a bit of back ache this morning and a slight lingering headache still! I think what I've realised this morning is I've had breakfast every day this week and this morning I've been starving to the point I had to go and make cereal and bring it up to bed, before this week I've not had breakfast for about 10 years 🙈

@waitingforourmiracle Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you! We've also never had a positive pregnancy test before so I can't imagine how happy and amazing it must feel to see those lines x

Good luck to the rest of the ladies waiting for their lines, is anyone else planning on testing earlier? I'm so torn...on one hand want to get it over and done with so I can know maybe 3-4 days sooner, but part of me is hopeful waiting a few extra days will make it happen - which I know is unlikely. I haven't seen many people online that have had a negative pregnancy test but then positive hcg..

Same @Lavendermarshmallows I have never seen a BFP either.
I'm really undecided about when to test. The clinic have told me to test 14dp5dt which I think is really late!
I'm only 3dp5dt today and don't feel anything other than my symptoms from the progesterone (tiredness mainly).

I'm 4dp5dt. I'm so impatient and would love to know but we are planning on holding out. Trying not to read into everything. I'm so exhausted today,going for a nap. But I was wakened at 6 so probably understandable lol

What has everyone been eating/drinking during the TWW? I'm trying to be healthy, not having any caffeine and eating lots of veggies and nuts. However I also am just really craving a takeaway pizza 🤣😅

I have had a mix to be honest. Getting a lot of fruit and veg in however I did get a take away last night. Trying to live as normal and stress free as I can lol

Same @Hopingtobe4. I also normally eat LOADS of spicy food like I could literally just have half a jar of jaelpenos on a chilli. However trying not to eat too much spicy food as heard you should avoid it but then I've been googling this and think it might be a myth? So probably just going to eat spicy food as I normally would.

Its so hard isn't it. If anyone seen my Google search history this past few days lol.

@lemons44 I'm 6dp5dt too, have decided to suck it up and wait till Friday night; my clinic told me to test saturday morning so it'd only be 12 hours earlier haha. I'm terrified if its negative it will mess with my head and I won't be able to function the rest of the week.

I'm eating really healthy, cooking everything from scratch and lots of leafy greens, berries, nuts, but I have to say the craving for a takeaway is STRONG... I know the doctors say everything in moderation is fine, but lack of symptoms is definitely keeping me disciplined in holding out for hope it makes a bloody difference...

@waitingforourmiracle Initially 3 funded, but as I have so many frozen, they would only allow 2 collections. But funding for this cycle ends, when either pregnancy happens or embryos all used up. And amazing news on your test, what day was this on?

@lemons44 I'm not sure what size mine got to this time. On day 11 it was 7.2mm so they said all good to go. At point of transfer, the Dr said it looked a brilliant thickness, so who knows.

I cracked today and done a test, BFN. I am only day 6, at least I know the trigger is out of my system. But now I have turned negative grrrrr, why did I test. I have no symptoms of anything now. Cramping gone, sore boobs gone, nothing. Only diff is waking for the toilet every night, but surely that cant be linked, way too early.

Thank you all for your messages! I still don't believe it, I will more after bloods on Thursday, tested again this morning and the line has got slightly darker!

@lemons44 I had pizza a few nights after transfer I just could not be bothered cooking haha. Tried to be good apart from that, lots of fruit!

@SadieBarts I tested on day 6, I've got everything crossed for you, I've seen so many posts that didn't show anything at day 6 your not out yet 💗

Hey otd is offical test date. I watched an embryologist on tiktok who said 6 days only a few would get positives and to try not test until day 8 to allow the hcg to rise. I know its so hard I'm 5dp5dt today and the urge to test is killing me - I only have my clinic test inthe house,on purpose I'll.get more at the weekend

I see, official day is Sunday. Our clinic change their minds on tests days, 1st was 10 days, last 2 were 12 days. Maybe they have had false negatives. I am in 2 minds whether to test on day 10, my other half will say no 😂

I want to test day 10 we compromised on day 11...I am thinking she js right and maybe should just wait to day 12,but 10 minutes later I'll change my mind lol
