Hi, I’m currently 4dp5dt and wondering if anyone else is in their 2ww, well 9 days after 5dt?

Was your 8 year old on your first IVF? Did you have any symptoms with him?

@praying4babba ah I'm pleased you feel a bit better about it. Definitely try not to count yourself out just yet ☺️
Yes my first IVF was successful first time, we were very fortunate. I can't really remember my symptoms of 2ww. I know I tested early and got my positive on 8dpt. And I know I got heavy boobs and was super tired. But nowadays I also get those types of symptoms before my period too!

@Sj2505 My first chemical was confirmed at my bloods, 4 weeks and then my second chemical was at my second bloods, between 4-5 weeks. Did you get grades from your embryos? We just got the grade for this embryo as there were so many so they just told us they were top quality. Then I’m guessing we would take it an embryo at a time. But hopefully won’t need to and this one sticks. How are you feeling, do you have any symptoms?

@praying4babba Hope you are feeling a bit better today and you’ve had a better day. A lot of people don’t get positives until test day. Really hoping it’s good news for us all!

@IVFjourney23 ah I'm so sorry, that must have been so hard and must make it all so worrying for you.
Yes I had 2 x 4AA and 2 x 4AB. My clinic said the 4AA were top quality, but I don't know if that's the same in every clinic, I know some have a different rating system.
I think I'm starting to feel some changes. My boobs are tender, and my nipples are very sensitive (almost tender). I've had a few light aches in my uterus, and the odd dizzy spell. I'm not sure but I think my sense of smell has increased too, we drove past some farmers fields earlier and I could literally smell it in the back of throat, I was repulsed by it and my partner said he could barely smell it. He also smelt divine when he left for work this evening which I don't usually overly notice. How about you? How are you feeling? You're 6dpt aren't you?

@Sj2505 Yes woke up this morning not feeling too good. This journey is tough. My boobs aren’t as tender this morning, and I don’t know if I’m over thinking it or? I think I’ve blocked out memories from the chemicals as well so I’m struggling to remember what happened with my symptoms back then! I’ve taken a clear blue test that is meant to be taken on the day of period, it was positive, just not as dark as I’d like. But then I’m 7dp5dt. So I don’t know really.
You must be happy with the quality of your embryos 🙂 yes I’ve heard and researched that 5AA, 4AA and 3AA are all top quality.
Your symptoms are very promising 🤞🏼

Hi ladies. Hope you having a good day today. @Sj2505 those symptoms sound very promising so I am hopeful for you!! For you and @IVFjourney23 . I looked at my chart when I was shown the PGTA testing and it says my embryo was 322. Not sure what that is in regards to grading? Too late to ask as it is hopefully burrowing into my uterus. Today I am throbbing boobs and have been nauseas all day. I actually asked my doc if I can take Probiotics as I had an upset stomach from Sat night. Not sure if it is linked or a separate issue. This journey surely makes you go mad. I have stabbing pain in my right side lol

@praying4babba not sure about the numbers in regards to our letter system. Strange how they go off different things in different places.
Have you taken another test? I have the right side pain as well.
I didn’t realise there was anything against probiotics? I drink one every morning.

So I’ve retested this morning and got a strong positive 🙂 and done another digital that says 1-2 weeks 🤞🏼

@IVFjourney23 that's amazing 🤩 whispering congratulations for you! What are your symptoms like this morning?
@praying4babba I'm not sure what those numbers are either. You could still email your clinic if your curious. Throbbing boobs, nausea and stabbing pains are good signs 🤞🏼 I have my fingers crossed for you. How many dpt are you now?

I am 5dpt today and symptoms are much the same. I don't usually have breakfast but the last couple of days I'm so hungry in the morning that I feel sick by 8am if I haven't eaten. Still have tender, heavy boobs, a few light twinges last night. I'm very gassy too and soooo tired yesterday!

@Sj2505 that’s very promising with your symptoms 🤞🏼 I’m not sure with my symptoms as I don’t want to be really disappointed so trying to keep a level head. Thank you though. My symptoms are up and down and seem to be stronger then fade away. But this morning I have slightly tender boobs and a little bit of nausea. But I’ve been on fertility medication on and off for almost 4 years and I don’t think I’ve ever felt normal in that period, then throw in PCOS 😂 So yes I’m not convinced with my symptoms. Just glad to have a stronger positive.
When is your OTD?

@IVFjourney23 I'm the same! All my potential symptoms are also symptoms I usually get with my period anyway 🤯 it's a whirlwind isn't it.
My OTD is 20th September, so next Wednesday. Don't know if I'll last that long, but I'm just seeing how I feel about testing each morning. Managed to avoid it this morning, thankfully!

@Sj2505 you are doing well to not test 🙂 a lot better than me. I’ve become obsessed. So decided if this one doesn’t work, I won’t ever test again and I’ll just go off the blood results from the hospital because it’s just too stressful. I know my husband would prefer that as well.
Your test date seems quite far out for a 5dt, I never understand the different protocol in different places. I’ve heard of 9, 11 and 14 days later. You would think everywhere would be the same.

@IVFjourney23 it seems easy in the morning, but then I obsess the rest of the day and wish I'd have tested with first wee haha! I may test at 7dpt so on Thursday. My OH is back in work from Friday, so I don't know whether to wait until over the weekend and surprise him if it's BFP instead! I'm driving myself mad already.
My 8 year old had a dream that I told him I was pregnant last night 😅 he always says he wants a little brother or sister! I've also been having very vivid and life like dreams since 1dpt, every night so far!
Your tests sound so promising, but I understand your reservations!
Yes I thought that, I'd like to think that by 13dpt it would be very strong, but I suppose that's probably the idea.

@IVFjourney23 I'm ok thank you, symptoms are much the same, but come in waves. The odd twinges, waves of nausea and my boobs aren't as tender in the morning but get fairly sore towards the end of the day.
I did a test this morning on a cheapie and had the faintest of faint lines after a while. It's barely there at all. I tested my trigger out and by 3dpt the test was stark white, so now at 6dpt to have the faintest of faint lines is a good thing. I just have to hope it turns into something proper now 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Hi ladies

sorry have been so quiet here. I tested day 9 and it was negative but it didn’t come up straight away so I chucked it in the bin. Now I am wondering if I should have waited 3 min?
I have the worst cramps today and twinges in my boobs. This has been really hard I won’t lie. I think I fear more as if this doesn’t work we were going to look at donor so I am so scared x

@Sj2505 That’s good news 🤞🏼 hopefully the line gets stronger for you.
My symptoms are the same, they come and go.
I did a test this morning and it was a very strong line that showed up in around 40 seconds 😂 not that I timed. I just need my hcg level from bloods now. I think I need to stop with the tests and I don’t have any left which is perfect.

@praying4babba Yes don’t give up hope yet, when is your OTD?

I have to travel on Friday for work so I asked if I could do it tomorrow so we can open them together . We have to do a blood HCG test.

I have so much respect for ladies who have gone through this over and over !

@praying4babba sorry to hear you're having a hard time! But yes, definitely wait at least the 3mins.
I'm currently 6dpt and test date isn't until 13dpt, so still another week officially. I have one FRER, so I think I'm going to try that tomorrow.. maybe.

@IVFjourney23 that's fantastic news!! When do you have your bloods?

@Sj2505 I have just received my blood results and got a level of 110. So they are very happy with that and I have a scan booked in 2 weeks time 🙂 can’t quite believe it yet!
